This is a nice, well made punching bag. It is for smaller kids. The bag itself is nice and thick and very well stitched. We filled it with sand and it holds well. We do not have a as me seeping from any edges. The hardware to hang it is good enough quality that we didn’t have to buy anything additional for it to be secure in our garage ceiling. The gloves are a bit thin but good enough for a kid that is not punching too hard. We will likely replace the gloves with a thicker pair. ... show more

This bag comes empty and you have to figure out what to fill it with. Don't use sand like I did because it's way too heavy. I recommend you fill it with old towels.

So, I got this, a punching speed bag, and a speed bag with a kick pad, for a 3 yr old monster who comes to visit. Also got this portable swingset/gymnastics bar thing to hang it from. The swing isn't great, but it works okay for hanging this bag. Now, all three punching bags came with gloves, one with two pair. But THIS one came with the best quality gloves. It was also his favorite, and it wore him all the way out, to where he was ready for nap time. Haha. I think this is a great starter bag for young kids, to start teaching them early, and getting them into fitness and self defense. So much better than a video game or action figure, or some nonsense toy. This is one of the most practical things you could get for a child, and I highly recommend it. Along with spending time teaching them how to hit it. The bag comes empty of course, but I found that two quilted moving blankets rolled up and fit perfectly. As per the instructions and some online research, you will want to stuff the bag with the appropriate fill for the kids. Old clothing, blankets, etc work for a light bag while I used a some saw dust mixed in with torn fabric/clothes to give it a little more weight. This is not made for the weight of sand so I would not really suggest it. The seams and attachment points for the bag seems sufficient and the kids love the gloves that come with it. Had to get another set of gloves to stop the two kids from fighting over the one that came with the bag. Great item to let the kids punch/kick some energy out! ... show more
