If you are a hot sleeper, and like it cooler, this is the ticket. It is not really a "cooling" comforter. Rather, it is a comforter that does not warm up. Somehow. It stays room temp-ish rather than warming to your body temp. Somehow. LOVE IT.

I honestly wasn't sure what I received as the box was so thick and so very heavy. When I lifted this throw out of the box, though, it was so lightweight. A deep striated gray in color. I got the throw size because, honestly, I intended to use it as a mega-cooling mat for my dog as they (for pets) tend to be on the small size. Buuuuut, nope. If you have a pet with a cooling mat you will know what I'm talking about. This is cool to the touch. Satiny. Smooth. NOT weighted. NOT a 'blanket' or comforter. Honestly, when you look at it ... it seems more of a duvet cover with no fill lol. This is something you can wrap yourself up and it's like having a fan over your body. Sorry dogger, this is for the son lol. I think this would be perfect for SO many situations. Hot flashes. Hot sleepers. Adults or children with a fever and need to keep cool but in comfort. A hot day but you aren't ready to turn that air on yet. So many ways this can be used for people of all ages ... or ... a HUGE cooling mat for your pet. Fortunately ... for the dog hahaha ... I was able to find a throw-sized pet cooling mat because this one is definitely being used for the humans! lol Directions do say wash in cold in a mesh bag (a bag is included but it's not mesh) and hang to dry - out of sunlight. That can be a problem for me lol. But, I was Freya's cool mats in cold water and hang over the rub or shower curtain rod so ... same. I've also tossed hers in the dryer and they came out fine. This Zonli Z magic blanket came in clutch when our A/C unit went out. It is definitely silky and cooling. The color is a slate blue (not well depicted in my photos). It fits my son’s twin size bed well and it washed and dried on low heat with no issues. I’m not exactly sure what Zbamboo/Zmagic is, but it certainly feels nice on your skin and prevented sweating. I am also unsure of why this Zonli blanket is triple the price of their standard cooling blanket. This particular blanket is advertised as a comforter, but I didn’t get that impression based on thickness. Perhaps, their standard blanket is less magical and therefore cheaper. I will vouch for the quality, comfort and easy care. However, the price seems a bit high. At the moment, it has a 40% off coupon, which is more reasonable. Overall, Zonli magical cooling blanket is as advertised and worth it when on sale. ... show more

This comforter definitely sleeps cool but it’s not nearly big enough to fit my king bed. It only hangs 2” over the sides and foot of the bed so I wake up partially uncovered after a night of tossing and turning. It’s put together well, is lightweight, and is silky smooth to the touch. If it was cut bigger to hang over the edges of the bed by at least 6” I’d give this a much higher review. ... show more

Feels very soft to the touch and feels like it’s high quality. Not quite sure if it’s worth the money that you might pay for it given the list price, but it does feel very nice and premium. Covers the whole bed very well, up to queen size (I chose queen size). I have not tossed it in the washer quite yet, as it’s used in my guest bedroom and I’ve only used it a few times since I’ve had it. It does feel like it’s much better for temperature regulation than most fabrics that I’ve tried before. Def recommended for people who are very warm sleepers such as myself. Color does appear lighter in person that it appears in most of the photos in my opinion so I would make sure to reference review images such as mine to make sure it matches expectations. ... show more
