I got this because the upgraded motherboard we were installing didn't come with the screws to mount it to the PC chassis. Turned out we needed a few nuts because of less than adequate self tapping holes in the case, which weren't in this kit. We improvised by using a hack saw to cut off the screw threads from some of the riser bolts provided in this kit, so we got there just not as easily. I've been building my own desktops for around 12 years now, and I just broke down and bought this, and wish I had done so earlier. I am on my second PC case and third motherboard and somewhere along the line I lost some screws, and none of the new motherboards supply them. I figured with how big and heavy graphics cards are now, I needed to do it right. I also had a fan that was making noise in my case, opened it up to see it missing 2 screws, this did the trick and the screwdriver was narrow enough to do the job as well. Having a massive assortment of screws is nice for the price but go ahead and pick up a different driver. This one stripped the tip of it with little pressure. Dont risk metal shaving on your motherboard etc.

Yea be tight fit on some screws only because have to align just right and sorts re thread as you screw! Works with magnetic screw driver...screwdriver included is non magnetic! Only complaints I have weird tracking updates! And bag it sealed in was cheesey...during shipping the lock tab on plastic box popped off and had screws had to sort...normally kits like these have individually tiny zip bags screws are in to open and dump in the box to keep them separated kit had 3 little zip lock bags..were didn't have to sort from ones that spilled...but don't let that deture you away from buying this kit! Sorting spilled screws kills time and gives you something to do if waiting for other packages to be delivered! ... show more

Like all these varied kits, it includes motherboard washers nobody uses. Has a mix of the M3 'motherboard' screws and #6 32 'machine screws' more often (for me, at least) used as motherboard screws these days. These are black and they work.

I kind of wish there were more external case and HDD screws and much MUCH less of the lesser used screws, but all in all, this saved my butt when building my tower server from scrap parts. Well made screws.
