  • Soooo Disappointed
Okay, I have never had to take pics of a product before but I felt it was warranted. The main reason I bought this product was that the metal slats were inset or low on the frame to give the mattress room to sit down into the frame and not slide around. However, I believe the unit I received was manufactured incorrectly. The pre-installed legs riveted onto the folder metal frame were installed upside down. This results in the metal slats being flush or flat with the sides of the bed so the mattress will slide everywhere. (See images) Trust me, I took the thing apart because I thought I installed the sides of the bed upside down, backwards, or on the wrong side. That's not the issue. There is no way to flip the sides of the bed upside down because the pre-installed legs only go one direction. The U shaped holders for the slat are clearly lower to one side, and if the pre-installed legs were pointing the correct direction this wouldn't be an issue. I have no inclination to ship this heavy a$$ thing back and get a refund, but I am very disappointed in how this thing was manufactured. It needs a tool to remove rivets and replace them so I could reverse the directions of the legs. Very disappointing for nearly $200. ** UPDATE > Actually the issue is that the welded U shaped holders of the slats are out of place and need to be lower. If the legs were reversed then these U shaped welds would then be upside down. ... show more

  • Good for fluffy folks
Are you fluffy? Extra fluffy? Extra extra fluffy? Are you a potential for another episode for ‘My 600 pound Life’? Do you need a sturdy bed? Look no further! I will say you can’t be short! I’m 5’8” and have a time getting up on my bed. It has height big enough where I can slide underneath. It holds weight up. I know around 750 pounds. Between my husband and I and our Sasquatch of a son whom gets scared of the dark, holds us up real well. ... show more

  • It’s not too good to be true!!
I was very hesitant to buy a bed online without having touched it or seen it. I took the leap and assembled this bed to hold our new king size nectar mattress. We are 3 weeks in and it is incredibly sturdy. I have not heard a sound from it and it supports the mattress well without a box spring. Our five year old had jumped on it and it didn’t flex or squeak. It was difficult to find a frame that could support the weight of mattress, me,my husband, sometimes our daughter and our 90 pound Doberman, because most frames only support 500 pounds. This frame has supported the weigh without issue and has given our bedroom a nice updated look. I am so excited with how much I love this bed! ... show more

  • the installation instructions are WORTHLESS, but it was easy to figure out
Size: California King
love the bedframe ,but it is obvious none of their engineers have tried to put frame together while reading the install direction they ship with product, would buy this frame with headboard again, actually have plans to buy at least one more very soon. the frame is very solid and makes no noises

  • Assembly is best with 2 people, sturdy bed though!
I recently moved to a smaller apartment and couldn't take my Queen bed with me. I did NOT want to spend a ton on another bed and mattress so I read some reviews and the word that stood out for me was "sturdy". Yes, I'm fat. Sturdiness is important to me. The package is small but pretty heavy because it's solid metal. Once I unpacked everything, I grouped together the bolts and nuts by size and put the parts to the bed in alphabetical order (they are each labeled with a letter.) I fancy myself to be pretty competent with furniture assembly, which is odd because sometimes I can barely walk a straight line. Something about the visuals of instructions and the engineering of a lot of this type of furniture lets my inner handy person out. So, I got started. And yes, I made mistakes, so learn from me! 1. There is a diagram of all of the pieces of the headboard laid out. DO THIS FIRST. If you screw together only some parts first, you won't be able to slide in the other parts, so you have to go back and unscrew/loosen things until it all fits together. 2. Have a second person. I did not, so I used a series of random boxes and furniture to prop up certain parts as I was working. The headboard can be done by one person, but once you get to the platform attachment, it needs to be straight. 3. Get creative with the profanity when you learn that at least one set of holes will NOT match up, even if you completely disassemble, rotate parts, change parts from one side to another, etc. That one hole will never match up. It's ok. Well, it's okay if it's a smaller one. You need the large bolt holes to match. It ended up taking me about 2 hours because of the misaligned hole. I really wanted it to fit, but I couldn't make it happen. It ended up being ok. The bed is indeed sturdy. You don't need a box spring which is great. I have a memory foam mattress on it and it's just right. Not sure about movement yet, I haven't been very "active" on it, if you know what I mean and I think you do. The height off the floor is great! Plenty of room for storage. ... show more

  • Good bed for the price
Size: Twin
I'm very happy with this bed. It took me a little over an hour to put it together. The mattress doesn't move at all. There are no noises from it while in it. I'm glad I purchased this bed.

  • UPDATE DO NOT BY - Better beds out there.
UPDATE: I bought 2 of these beds an both the king and queen SQEAK LIKE CRAZY!!! It’s been so hard to sleep and I’ve tried everything to make it stop. This is by far the worst purchase I have made. DO NOT BUY THIS Okay so I loved the design on the bed, but man am I disappointed... the head board is scratched and bent. the slats are to thin and too wide so my memory foam mattress is bubbling out the bottom... also there is no lip to hold the bed in so it slides around! These things could be easy fixed by the designer but it was poorly thought out. I will say that it’s very sturdy and doesn’t squeak and pretty easy to put together. ... show more
