This toy is fantastic! Even my 40 lb dog doesn't find it too small, and can pull the toys from their base with a little bit of patience and problem solving. I do supervise since the toys are a bit smaller than I usually give her, and she eagerly waits for me to hide them for her again and again! It's great cooperative play. The media could not be loaded. My 3lb chihuahua has a mini Kong ball that she is completely attached to and wants thrown every 30 seconds. I always put the ball in the center of a blanket and roll it up so she has a bit of a puzzle/ energy burn trying to get the ball out. She got smart enough to solve every blanket “puzzle” I made within a minute, so I had to figure something else out. This is perfect. With the three cookies, the ball easily falls out. But I just stuffed a few other balls in there with the cookies and it works perfect. If you’re just doing a hide and seek with the cookies, I could see this working fine too. But like I said, hiding her fav ball is our purpose. It’s actually pretty difficult for her. Which is good because it gets her tired and makes her think! The milk carton itself feels pretty durable. The cookies are just like any other stuffed toy. Should easily work for a non- chewer dog obviously. My fav part is that She tries to stick her little Apple head In the holes to cheat but has no luck. Great toy but even better for our purpose specifically! ... show more

My dog LOVED This you more Han any other toy I've ever bought her but I really wish it would've lasted longer and didn't require so much sewing on my part. My labrahuahua would pull all the stuffing out of each cookie and then move on to pulling apart the seams of the milk container every time she played with it. I would restuff them and sew everything back together and she'd just do the same thing as soon as she got them back. This lasted a couple of weeks total before I couldn't salvage enough material to continue sewing it back together. Unlike myself, my dog Dottie enjoyed this ENTRIRE process immensely. She'd even sit for long amounts of time and watch me intensely as I sewed each piece of the toy for her which is why I gave it 4 stars. She's never enjoyed a toy more but it really sucked for me though. ... show more

Dog loves this toy. She loves the strawberries - the squeakers driver her crazy and they’re the perfect size/texture for her to walk around with them. The waffle is a fun game - can hide the strawberries or other treats inside and keep the doggo busy for a while. Well made and super cute. She’s not a chewer, so I think this’ll last us a while. Aggressive chewers may be able to rip through these pretty quickly though.. I’d opt for something more durable if that’s the case. ... show more

    • Arrived broken, no reasonable refund option
All 3 of my blueberry toys arrived defective. There’s still a squeaker in them, but not one of them actually squeak at all. Almost like they were used/destroyed. The retailer requires returned items to be in un-opened condition (ironic huh?), but of course I did not realize all three were broken until my dog was disappointed with each one as he couldn’t get them to squeak even once :( So now since he has actually put these toys in his mouth, I can’t get a refund for them. So, buyer beware of broken items with no real refund option. I can’t tell if they are durable or not, because while my dog can play rough with his toys, he is only 12 pounds. However, I wouldn’t be able to tell anyway because he doesn’t play with these blueberries at all. Usually once he realizes he has a toy, he will carry it around as long as it lasts, even after it is nothing but threads. He couldn’t care less about these ones, since they never excited him from the start. Not worth the money. PS - I have bought other toys from this same retailer, such as the donuts (which upon arrival had 2 of 3 working squeakers). Those ones did not last more than a day or two in terms of durability. The crabs have lasted a while, so have the unicorns... basically, any of the toys that come included with the “hide-out” seem to work just fine, but the replacement toys that are sold without that piece are always shoddy and disappointing. ... show more

They say not for aggressive chewer. I say not for any chewer! We got this for a small mixed breed puppy who does naw (sort of an open and close gentle bite motion) but is in no way an ‘aggressive chewer’. I am an experienced dog owner and have had a couple chewers in the past. It is not the fault of the dog. This toy is not made for any type of chewing, it has very thin material over the opening of the hole, apparently with the expectation that the dog will never attempt to bite at the opening in the attempt to retrieve the popcorn balls. The rest of the toy seems to by well constructed and durable - the little soft squeaky popcorn balls are a big hit with all three of our dogs. However, I didn’t pay for a hide and seek toy just to end up with three soft squeaky balls I could buy much cheaper elsewhere. Save you money until Zippy Paws invests in heavier durable fabric to stitch around the edges of the openings. It’s a shame what would otherwise likely be a high quality toy is currently made trash in a matter of a day or two by a puppy in an attempt play hide a seek. ... show more

All 4 of my dogs absolutely love these! I bought several sets. I purchased the cookies & milk, the popcorn, the donuts & coffee mug, and the chicken legs bucket. My dogs go nuts for them all! Thier favorite is the donuts & mug as well as the popcorn set. The only thing I found to be an issue is on some of these the hole is smaller so dogs with a larger snout can’t get in the hole to be able to retrieve the peices, especially on the cookies/milk set but they will still play with the cookies separately or I will put a peice to stick just slightly out of it so they can still grab it. (The donuts/mug set has the largest hole) ... show more
