I've been using a traditional mask and snorkel for the last 45 years or so and I have never had a more comfortable fitting mask than this one. The first time I put it on and tested it in my pool, I swam for about 45 minutes without ever taking the mask off and it never leaked and it never fogged up. What a game-changer! One issue I had at first was that I noticed the mask was only exhaling out of the right side, so I carefully moved the two little suction cup stoppers on the left side to break them free from the plastic frame and then I was able to exhale much more easily out of both sides of the mask. There's also an exhale area near the chin which is probably useful for purging any water that may enter the mask, but like I said, I didn't have any trouble with water coming in. My measurement from the top of nose to chin is about 4-3/4", so I chose the Large size and it's a very good fit. I would definitely recommend this mask to anyone interested in snorkeling. And with the UV protection on the outside of the glass, it makes this mask look super cool. The view from inside the mask is extremely clear and it doesn't appear to be discolored at all. If you're interested in a new mask and snorkel, treat yo' self and get one of these. You won't regret it. ... show more

I bought this mask because I just hated having a breathing tube in my mouth and my goggles always fogged up. I did alot of research and found information about good features to have on a full face snorkeling mask. Although there are concerns about CO2 buildup in a full face mask, this mask seemed to have alot of the same features as the masks that were tested for CO2 safety. Namely, the separate air channels for inhale and exhale. The exhaled air is vented thru a separate channel on the sides of the mask creating a short path to eliminate exhaled air and easier to breath and lesschance of breathing old air. The snorkel tube is dedicated to inhale breathing and reduces breathing resistance, increases rapid fresh air exchange, and reduces fog up. Another big concern with full face mask is getting a correct fit for CO2 buildup safety and leaking or flooding problems. So make sure you get the right size and test it. This mask is also thin, has a small internal air volume which facilitates fresh air exchange and foldable which is great for packing in your travel bags. Next feature is that this mask has a flat face for clear (not warped) unobstructed view. Plus, it has an anti fog coating that works! Love it. I use this mask for casual snorkeling which it is designed for. Full face snorkeling masks are not exercise or for diving. Its easy peasy to use for beginners. I did dive a short distance with this mask just to see what it was like and what happens is that the mask sucks onto your face and breathing essentially stops since the snorkeling tube stops water from coming in which means no air. The mask has a low internal air volume. You get the picture. I also found that if you frown, the mask breaks it seal and will leak a tiny bit. I do love the drain at the bottom of the mask in case you get some water in your mask. I can see that the UV coating will help with alot of reflection that come with water and it does color your outside world but underwater it fades away since there is less light.     • Best Snorkel Mask, Not One Complaint!

The media could not be loaded. I purchased two of these masks for a trip I took my daughter on for her 15th birthday to Key West FL, and this mask performed better than I expected. We did a few snorkel excursions which they provided snorkel gear, but after trying what was provided, we still ended up going back to use our own and these masks worked perfectly. They stay snug to your face and the adjustable straps make it easy to adjust when you need to. We never had any issues with fogging or water getting in. When we had days at the beach, we would stay in the ocean for hours snorkeling, sometimes for as long as an hour straight without ever taking the masks off for fresh air. The valve closes automatically when you go under water and opens when the air valve peaks above water. It may take a few minutes to get used to breathing with the mask because of the auto-close valve, as it can feel like you have to inhale harder to get air or you may feel like you're not getting enough air and could cause you to worry, so I just recommend you practice using the mask and your breathing before you go on your adventure so you're comfortable with how it feels and not panic. My 15yr old daughter had no issues with it once she got used to it. This was worth the purchase and it allows you more time exploring and not wasting time resurfacing to defog or let water out like like so many other masks do. The full face mask also saves your mouth from feeling sore from having to bite down on the air tube in traditional equipment. If you talk loud enough, you can also communicate through the masks. My next adventure is the Turks & Caicos in August and I can't wait to use our masks again exploring the reefs there. I highly recommend this mask and would buy it again if we needed to replace! ... show more

Used these in Cozumel for a week and was very happy with it. The full face mask gave much better visibility than standard snorkel mask and mouth piece. Could wear fairly loose and not one drop of water leaked in. I didn't think that was possible! The "no backwash" valve was wonderful. The mask provided a clear and wide field of view, and the adjustable straps made it comfortable to wear.
