So I had been looking at raised bed frames for quite some time. I didn't even know these platform bed frames existed till I came across two twin folding frames discarded behind my neighbors house in the alley. Being a gardener who has a very bad back and being that I'm always strapped for money I immediately saw them as perfect for placing my wooden barrels on. Since then i have utilized them for other projects. I then started searching online and discovered them on Amazon. I very much needed to get my queen bed off the floor as I wanted something that would raise it up higher than the traditional caster style bed frame. I didn't need anything fancy but I was amazed at the variety of style and price and best of all it was shipped to me. I simply don't want to drive around in the heat to search for anything anymore. I have taken photos of how it's packaged and the progression of the assembly which wasn't too hard. The only thing I would highly recommend to the manufacture is that they need to be more detailed on the attachment of the legs. I am pretty good at assembly things but I was perplexed by the leg attachment. I also had two extra bolts/washers that I'm assuming they purposely included. As everything was secured. But there's no mention that you will have these extra parts. As for attaching the legs, you will have a receiving end that needs to be flushed with the legs and the you will see an opening on the frame part that is a 1/4 loop for lack of a better term that the leg should slide into. There is no mention in the directions to use the hex key to expand the receiver part in the leg piece which allows it to stay in place and lock into the bed frame. The directions are very limited. The picture of the bed frame was far more helpful. If you are a visual learner then you'll have no problem. I'm very happy with the bed and the bamboo wood strips which are attached by fabric are quick, light weight and easy to throw on to complete the bed. I put the whole bed together alone and in a little over an hour just because I was baffled by the legs going on as mentioned above. So glad I was able to buy it with the Prime days savings. If money wasn't such an issue for me I would have gone with the folding platform instead as it couldn't be faster or easier. The two I found in the alley were too weathered to use inside but I still use them to hold my lumber for my building projects. Finding them opened my eyes to a better way to raise up my bed. I just didn't realize these things existed! What an easy way to get beds up at a good level for those of us with back issues. My only problem is I have banged my toes and shin on the legs and frame a few times when not paying attention. Dang it hurts like hell and my little toes are real delicate. So I'm looking for a way to make some kind of a bumper on the corners. I do recommend buying this particular bed frame. Does the job for my need for sure! But be prepared the directions are fairly limited. You could probably find an assembly video on YT but it's pretty straight forward on getting assembled. Just get all your pieces laid out and make sure you don't lose the included ratcheting tool which makes assembly much faster. ... show more

We had a larger bed frame with massive posts that we would hit our hips on. It was a hand-me-down from my family and it made me want to explode every time I hit my hip on it. We wanted something simpler, more sleek, but still sturdy - and this fits all of those bills. The instructions are incredibly easy to read and recognize; the pictures inside of the instructions are high-quality so it's easy to tell which way pieces need to go. One thing I will say is be careful with directions of them - I got them wrong a few times but it was my own fault. The bolts are a bit badly labeled and the letters do not line up where they should, so it seems like they're labeled differently. You may wind up using the wrong bolts, so keep that in mind because I made that mistake. The bed does also creak a bit but I can probably fix that with some WD-40. I have back issues, and it's easy to get in and out of this bed. It's low to the ground but more like a chair height, and not low enough to where I have to push myself UP out of bed and I can just sort of stand up out of bed. This is very good for disabilities. I didn’t have any trouble putting it together. My 20 year old daughter and I put her Queen together without any problems. It didn’t take very long maybe an hour or so. Although I did use my own tools because it was easier. I ordered another Queen and my 17-year-old put hers together herself when I was at work. They are fine for each of them and a queen bed sleeping alone. They seem like they would be good with two people. Here is my honest review-the good and the not quite good. It looks great and the components are solid and should support my mattress nicely. That is the most important thing, right?! I like the under bed space as well. That is a positive as well. My only subtractions from absolute perfection are: 1) I think there should be a metal horizontal support beam in the middle with 2 legs on each side of the bed. The bed has a middle leg only but I think two side legs would be better support. I have a zinus full sized frame on another bed and it has the middle support with legs and that just adds to the stability. Since this is a queen bed, I think it needs the extra support bar and legs. Also, the above referenced full sized zinus frame had padding on the legs. That is a must for frames with metal legs that seriously hurt toes. I bought padding separately but if this frame came with padding and the extra legs/support bar it would be absolutely perfection. As it is, I’m happy with it for my guest room that has a very nice, expensive mattress. Oh and last note - directions are just ok. Assembly requires two people and slow assembly. We made two or three mistakes because the directions leave a bit to be desired and we were working fast so put the headboard on backwards etc. If you take your time and can visualize the outcome it’s fine. ... show more

We bought this for our toddler sons room. It was super easy to put together. I loved that it came with a small ratchet to make the assembly quicker and easier! The wooden slats also have Velcro that attaches to the frame to help keep them from moving. It feels very sturdy, looks great, and is a great height for kids with no sharp corners! There are alot of metal bed frames like this on Amazon but I'm really happy with choice! I like that it did not have metal legs in the middle like many other, and the wood plant platform is great.
