Not very easy to assemble. Instructions dont show you clearly how to put it together. Read through the book they give before you put it together. You will get splinters w this product. Boards arent cut to the perfect size for support. Use a drill if you have on. I did it with a screwdriver. Total assemble time was 2 hours. (Im sure it could be brought down to 1-1/2 hrs) Overall I give it 4 out of 5 stars because it does exactly what I need it to do. It looks amazing and is sturdy enough that i dont question my safety. I was hesitant at first when I looked through the reviews and and saw mentions of bedbugs, but we thoroughly checked our headboard and didn’t see anything. I feel like that might be a rare thing and that that can happen with anything you purchased that has to be shipped. This bed is extremely sturdy. Edit: I am updating my review as of 12/15/2023. I reached out to the seller about the bed and he was more than happy to resolve the issue without any hassle. Even allowed me not to return the original. Hopefully we have a better outcome this time. If I were rating purely customer service it would be 5 starts. I bought this bed back in the beginning of the year, but I didn’t assemble it until July. Ever since then it has been wiggly and not as sturdy as I would’ve hoped for, but all in all, it was a good bed. But it’s not a good bed. I’ve had two pegs split on me and multiple other ones that are starting to split. This bed is lasted less than six months and has held up against nothing. Nobody jumps on it. Nobody is crazy on it.
