I bought the newer version, the smaller box, at first. It was a pain to install. The older version is much easier! It was pretty sturdy. We have been using the Queen one for 3 years and it's great for the value!

Simple to put together, good design seems sturdy. Good price. Light in weight. Simplicity at its finest. No frills , nothing fancy just built to do the job. Oh and good height with storage space beneath. Matte black finish looks like it will last no blemishes.

For such a basic item, I’m so pleased with how it worked out. The assembly was a piece of cake - 30-45 min for 1 person. Easy to follow instructions, loved the video that you could scan to pull up. I bought this frame along with the Zinus green tea mattress (which I LOVE). This bedframe is very modern looking and has a lot of room underneath for tons of storage. It looked like an affordable option so I went for it. BUT it really doesn't have anything to keep the mattress from sliding around, except for some sticky tape on the support beams. I have had the hardest time keeping the support beams in place because of this. When I changed the sheets, I had to lift the mattress ever so slightly to tuck the fitted sheet underneath. Then all the supports on that side with the sticky tape lifted up and out of place. I had to completely take the mattress off the bed to be able to fix them. It's a struggle to get them to lock back in place, as I dont think the beams are as long as they should be. The metal seems pretty cheap, as I was tightening the bolts, I was bending the metal around it. I should have kept the box to return it, but I guess I'll look for some creative options to make the supports and the mattress stay in place. I would be pretty upset if this frame's support system ruined my new mattress, considering it's from Zimus, the same manufacturer. Overall, I'd say for the price, ehhhh, it's OK. Maybe best suited for a college student or someone who just needs a cheap, temporary frame. *IMPORTANT UPDATE* 3/18/2019 So after much frustration in my desperate attempts to keep the support beams in place, I realized it was a complete user error on my part as to why they didn't fit. I measured each beam, they're all the same length. So then I figured the side frames were bent. I tipped the frame and aligned each support beam to lock in place on one side and used a mallet to gently tapp the corners of the frame on the opposite side and VIOLA.
