  • Super Easy To Use - Only Comes With 5 Sheets of paper! - Medium Quality Photos
Color: White Style: PRINTER
We recently went on a driving vacation and I keep a journal of where we stay etc. Sometimes I have put stickers in my journal from national parks and I got to thinking how fun it would be to be able to put my own pics in my book. I came to Amazon searching for a printer that would print on sticky paper and found a bunch of choices and this one in white had the lowest price and decent reviews so I decided to go for it. It was super easy to set up. It connected to my bluetooth. You download the polaroid mint app. I downloaded it on my ipad but plan to also put it on my iphone. When you first start it tries to get you to take a photo and print that but rather than wasting a photo just back out of that and go to the main page and you can print from your camera roll. I had to update the firmware but that only took less than a minute. Just follow the instructions. Then turn it on again and print. Loading the paper was confusing because it said to put the blue paper in with a logo face down on the bottom right. The diagram in the paper was different than the one with the printer....plus I was not sure what they considered the bottom as when you open the trap door to load the paper what would seem like the bottom appears to be the top of the other side. Anyway I just guessed that they meant the bottom of the trap door opening so that's what I did and it worked. You can edit your photo size in the app. If you want a border you can leave one but I did not see an actual cropping feature. I just stretched mine using the touch screen to full size. I am going to play with the app a bit more to see what you can do, but I did see a bunch of filters similar to instagram. I just used my original picture as that is what I was going for. Once you print it spits out the blue paper and I guess you get a new blue sheet with each new picture pack although I am not completely sure so I will hang on to it. It takes less than a minute to print your photo and then you can either peel the backing off and stick it somewhere or leave the backing on. The print is very thin even with the backing on. The picture quality is going to be medium at best. This is like a polaroid photo from the cameras that used to do that so do not expect professional photos. These are just fun little prints you can make to add to xmas cards or whatever you want. The quality is about what I expected maybe a little better than what I remember from polaroid prints of years ago. But they are so nice and thin with no thick covering. I would have given it 5 stars except I was expecting it to come with more paper. In the questions the manufacturer said it came with 10 sheets and mine only came with 5. I sort of feel like for the price that they could spring for a few more pieces of paper. 10 or 20 would be good to get you started. I'm probably being extra picky about that but it bugged me. Overall this is a great little printer that hardly takes up any room and I can carry it with me on vacation. I will probably get some sort of case for it to keep it padded and safe in my backpack where I carry my camera, but I expect to use this a lot. I'm thinking it might be great for all kinds of things. • Not worth price
Color: White Style: PRINTER
I like being able to print out small pictures but the paper is expensive and the prints are always too dark/lighting looks weird. In my opinion, not worth the money.

  • Check your phone’s display setting!
Color: White Style: PRINTER
Ok so first thing is first...the app. As soon as you charge, power the printer up and download the app, you have to do a firmware update to the printer. Well, I was unable to do this and read several people on the review of the Polaroid app had similar problems. When you go to do the update, there is a warning that pops up to plug in the printer. You can see an orange button underneath that warning, but you can’t hit it. After being frustrated and uninstalling and reinstalling the app, I emailed customer support. I received a response within a day that said to check my phone settings and make sure it’s NOT on enlarged text or zoom because that would cause the problem. Well mine was on zoom, but NOWHERE was any troubleshooting on their website or the app itself. I can’t believe the app isn’t programmed to adjust for different screen sizes or resolution. After the firmware was updated, it worked perfect. Don’t expect high res quality prints, which I didn’t. You will probably need to brighten a lot of pictures before printing as they do tend to be on the darker side. I can’t speak to battery life yet as I’ve just used it a couple times. Overall, it will work for my intended use for my camping journal. ... show more

  • Adorable little printer
Color: White Style: PRINTER
So far, I really like this cute little pocket printer. The size photos it prints are actually perfect size for my specific needs (scrapbooking) I love that I can now fit several photos on one smaller scrapbook page instead of maybe only like 2-3 regular 4x6 photos (and that’s 2-3 photos only AFTER I have already cut like half of the photo off in order to re-size it properly) I didn’t give this printer 5 stars because the color is off (pretty noticeable in some pics) and the quality isn’t the greatest. The photos have some sort of funky cool-tone to them and lots of them came out blurry (and those were professional taken photographers that were 100% in focus on my phone screen). I think if you’re buying this product for a child/teenager basically to use for fun or if you’re buying it for quick arts and crafts/scrapbooking needs like I did, it’s great and definitely serves its purpose. Also I forgot to mention, the photos double as stickers so no glue needed for scrapbooking just peel off the back and stick to the paper (a little added bonus for crafty users) Just don’t expect a super high-quality photo printer.. ... show more

  • Polaroid Mint vs. Instax Printer
Color: White Style: PRINTER
I'm using this for a bullet journal/scrapbook, and it does what I want it to do! The picture quality isn't the best, but they're 2x3 prints, so it's really more about the convenience of the sticky back and size, rather than the details, in my opinion. I have the Instax printer also (because I'm a basic chick), and the picture quality is very similar. I've attached a side by side of some pictures and my journal as reference. I love both printers! I use the Instax one for all the people pictures and the Polaroid one for all the background and detail pictures. Polaroid photo papers are MUCH cheaper than Instax film, but I love using the combo of the two. Buy all of them! UPDATE FIVE MONTHS LATER: The Mint app is very finicky, but when it DOES work, it's pretty good. One time, it took my 20 minutes to print one picture, so that was frustrating. Otherwise, don't try to edit the picture within the app. Lighten it in your phone and then send it to the app. ... show more
