Zink Zero Ink technology eliminates the need for expensive inks, toners and ribbons, delivering cool 2”x3” photographs you can peel and stick to any surface. Photos come out clear, bright, colorful and covered with an extra layer of protective coating to prevent smudges, rips and water damage. The KODAK app also lets you customize photos far beyond the usual ‘flip’ and ‘rotate’ of your smartphone. Use our extensive editing tools to apply flattering filters, cutesy stickers, decorative frames and other personalized flair. Note - To ensure the best possible photo quality, make sure to properly insert the photo paper into the printer. Always load the blue Quality Card from the same pack of photo paper that is in the printer. The blue card should be inserted into the paper tray with the barcode facing down. If you use a blue card from other packs of paper, you might not get the best results. If you are experiencing a paper jam, make sure to turn the printer off and on again. This should eject the paper out. Do not pull out the paper by hand. Make sure not to cover the printing slot with your hand when the photo is printing.

I purchased this after reading a lot of reviews. Pros. 1. It's a good price and great size to carry around even in a purse. Doesn't take up much space. 2. it's easy to use and charge (instructions are in a QR code so it was a bit weird at first but easy to figure it out). 3. I love that you can edit the photo in the app, it makes it fun to have that option. 4. Photo paper is a sticker so, you can put it in a wallet, phone case or stick it on your scrap book easily. Cons. 1. Figuring out how to put the paper was a bit confusing but it's ok once you get the hang of it 2. Color is not 100% the one you see in the phone but it's nice, you can use a filter to adjust it so it's all good. 3. So far from all the photos I've printed (around 25ish-30) 2 of them came out with some white lines but it wasn't to noticeable. I recommend this to my friends because it's a great purchase and better to see the photos before printing. ... show more

I carry this on our adventures to add photos in my traveler’s notebook. The color and print quality is pretty good for what this is. No ink cartridges, easy to use and very portable. It is quiet when you print. I carry this in a smaller pouch inside my travel bag and it takes a beating and just keeps going. It’s a little pricey for the paper refills but I love being able to capture moments on film as I write the highlights of the day down. The sticker backing is great and stay stuck to the pages.     • A fun little printer

I bought this so I could print pictures of our campsites through the year. I didn't need anything fancy and a 2x3 little retro style print seemed like fun. I wasn't wrong, they're pretty fun. I have dropped this printer on concrete on accident and it's still working, scratches and all. I guess that's a testament to the build quality. I wouldn't recommend doing that, but at least it didn't die. I'm a bit annoyed by the whole proprietary paper for a printer that uses the Zink standard. Maybe it's just a calibration thing but it's still pretty dumb. I'm getting tired of all these consumer products that find ways to screw the users out of functionality in the name of profit. I did discover that the Zink branded paper is often cheaper on Amazon than the Kodak co-branded Zink paper so if you happen to find a cheaper alternative, here's a possible way to make it work: use the Kodak calibration sheet with the off-brand paper. I tried Zink branded paper thinking it would work considering the Kodak paper is clearly the exact same thing but I was wrong. The printer threw an error about not recognizing the paper and while it still would print, the colors were pinkish. On a whim I took the rest of my non-Kodak paper and put it into the printer with the Kodak calibration sheet and sure enough, it works fine now. So all you need to do is keep a Kodak specific calibration sheet handy and you should be able to use another brand's Zink paper. Obviously I do not have any proof this works other than my own experience so try this at your own risk! But it worked for me and I didn't have to toss out the 30 sheets of Zink paper I bought. Back to the printer, I've printed off a bunch of pics of our dogs for my wife and she loves them. They're grainy, tiny, not great quality but that's part of the appeal.
