Zink Zero Ink technology eliminates the need for expensive inks, toners and ribbons, delivering cool 2”x3” photographs you can peel and stick to any surface. Photos come out clear, bright, colorful and covered with an extra layer of protective coating to prevent smudges, rips and water damage. The KODAK app also lets you customize photos far beyond the usual ‘flip’ and ‘rotate’ of your smartphone. Note - To ensure the best possible photo quality, make sure to properly insert the photo paper into the printer. Always load the blue Quality Card from the same pack of photo paper that is in the printer. The blue card should be inserted into the paper tray with the barcode facing down. If you use a blue card from other packs of paper, you might not get the best results. If you are experiencing a paper jam, make sure to turn the printer off and on again. This should eject the paper out. Do not pull out the paper by hand. Make sure not to cover the printing slot with your hand when the photo is printing.

I got this to start junk journaling! It is easy to use and set up. I can store it anywhere because it is small. The pictures are small so the clarity isn’t as good, but it works perfect for what I’m using it for. I recommend this one for sure!

The printer is compact and can be taken in a small purse or even in your pocket. It is fun at events and most anywhere else. It came with 10 printer paper and I purchase another package of 50 photo paper. The size is small (around the size of a business card), which is fine with me. Printing quality is also good. You'll have to get the app on your phone (which was easy to do with simple instructions). Once you have the app, it's simple to use directly from photos you take on your phone. As a bonus the app included several borders and other features you can add to your image before printing. It is especially nice that it doesn't require the use of ink or other added things usually needed for printing (like wifi etc.). My Photo shows: Printer (with a pen to gauge size), extra paper, and a photo of my god children, their dad and I. All smiles here! A little photo printer that uses no ink. The quality isn’t as great as a Polaroid but it’s a little cheaper per print. The main pro that I liked was that you can make multiple copies of the same photo compared to a Polaroid which captures in the moment but only one copy per picture. I put some extra pics comparing the size difference between the slim version and the regular. There’s no difference on the overall print quality. It’s exactly the same on that side only difference is the size and dimensions. Overall the slim does have a more sleek and modern look with the edges and shape. While the regular version has a bit bulky but not in a bad way. The regular version reminds me of older iPhones while the slim has a bit more updated look but the same performance. It overall it a cool little thing you can make little memories and give to friends or make a collection of. It’s not a perfect photo printer but the Kodak step for 60 bucks is not bad. Only wish the step slim version was the same price ... show more

I purchased this after reading a lot of reviews. Pros. 1. It's a good price and great size to carry around even in a purse. Doesn't take up much space. 2. it's easy to use and charge (instructions are in a QR code so it was a bit weird at first but easy to figure it out). 3. I love that you can edit the photo in the app, it makes it fun to have that option. 4. Photo paper is a sticker so, you can put it in a wallet, phone case or stick it on your scrap book easily. Cons. 1. Figuring out how to put the paper was a bit confusing but it's ok once you get the hang of it 2. Color is not 100% the one you see in the phone but it's nice, you can use a filter to adjust it so it's all good. 3. So far from all the photos I've printed (around 25ish-30) 2 of them came out with some white lines but it wasn't to noticeable. I recommend this to my friends because it's a great purchase and better to see the photos before printing. ... show more

I have had this product for a few days now and have tried it a couple times. It's hit or miss though. Set up is fairly easy. It needed to be charged out of the box which was a little anticlimactic. But what made me put a review was the fact the printing itself. I tried to print this photo of my kids and what came out was an extremely zoomed in photo that didn't even print the actual subjects. I had to do it a second time and choose a different image because I was afraid of wasting my photo paper. Which is annoying because it's not like this thing just uses regular paper 🙄 . Might update this review if customer service reaches out or if I figure it out. Otherwise, just a heads up. Choose an image that has the subject dead center and is already in the orientation that you want to print in, portrait, choose a portrait image. Landscape, choose a landscape image. Edit: I have officially passed the return period and I wish I returned it because this thing is meant to be portable but needs a "jump" every use because it would not turn on unless it's connected to a power source! It is very frustrating because i imagined it could be kept in my pencil case to use for Journaling wherever I am in the house but can't do that unless. Def a 1st world problem BUT also defeats the purpose of the product. Also, he photos have become blurry, and dark (imagine a dark filter), and also customer service for kodak via Amazon, is not responsive. For the money you spend on this little guy, I'm pleasantly surprised at the print quality. The colors are reasonably accurate. Happy that there's no ink to deal with. Small enough to travel with or for me to take to work. Super happy with this purchase
