We tried one of the camera devices first, but the pictures it took were nowhere near what our iPhones can produce. So we got this printer, took the pics with our phones and printed them out. The APP is a bit lacking in orientation controls, but once you figure it out, it works well. Works real well but kinda slow on the Buffering Hand printing the image out When you first use it, the images come out, perfect, but after use it a While The pictures can come out kinda bad And the color can come out different than what it should be And sometimes the pictures will get white lines on it. This little printer doesn't require an ink purchase, but I tried two different devices and they both printed my photos with a yellow-orange tint. I really wanted to like this printer, but the technology seems like it's still in its early stages. Maybe in a few years, it'll be more accurate. I don't really know what it is, but there's something off with the color of the prints. These prints are scanned pictures of older photos, so it's a bit blurry and color was already a little off, but there's quite a bit of a different hue with the pictures. I still really like this Kodak Step printer though, but I prefer my Kodak Mini 2. This photo printer does have editing tools in the app, and you need the app to print. ... show more
