  • My cats love this item
Color: Gray
Overall good value for the price but has one problem ,.hard to connect inside the fish.

  • I can't believe this thing actually WORKS & keeps kitty VERY ENGAGED!
The media could not be loaded. I was a little skeptical when I first saw this toy advertised on Amazon but decided to give this version a try since it was nice and bright (harder to lose it, unlike so many of his other toys), and the price was right. As soon as I took it out of the package, our kitten was immediately attracted to it. After giving it a full charge with the included micro-USB cable, our cat immediately began playing with the fish. It has a nice cycle of flopping before going dormant, which is exactly when most cats will decide to attack it, and he does! I was a little afraid that he would be intimidated by the size since he was still a kitten when we bought it, but it didn't seem to bother him at all. Now that he is nearly full-size, he just attacks the fish with even more gusto and really enjoys grabbing it and rolling with it, kicking, and biting along the way. The charge lasts quite a while, and the fish itself is rugged. My cat (and husband) has been pretty rough with it, especially considering we have tile floors! One bit of advice for customers: Turn the fish off when you are watching a movie or going to bed. Our cat began to walk on the fish or bump it in the middle of the night or during movies, which began to get annoying. Luckily this device has an off switch, which means he can still play with it, but it makes considerably less noise! ... show more

  • Short battery life (rechargeable)
So these are fun. We have 5 spoiled cats. Some of them like these and some don't. But the cats that do really play hard with them. The only down sides are that the battery doesn't last long, BUT you can charge them with the micro-USB that comes with it. And then they are not good for kids if you want to keep the motor working well... my toddler is determined to break these so I am constantly tossing them out of the livingroom over the baby gate, but the cat keeps bringing them back 🤣 We like them and if your cat like to play hard, these are great. But if you have a skiddish one, this may not be the toy for them. ... show more

  • The cat owners will enjoy this more than the cat.
This is a toy to keep the owner entertained. The cats played once when I tossed the fish to them. Now, they would not look at it even if I try to get them to play. A string or a toy mouse is better and cheaper.

  • Great fun for the cat. Not indestructible, however.
My 2-year-old tom thinks he's a big-time hunter, so this really appealed to the tiger in him. But he grabbed it by the nose, bit down with his back teeth and ground (grinded??) away, leaving a big hole where the mouth used to be. Mom had to perform emergency oral reconstructive surgery before the cat could have the fish again. Now he is being a bit more cautious in his play. He tries to prevent the movements by lying flat on the fish. Or he wraps his front paws around the fish and holds him. When this doesn't work as well as planned, he adds the back-paw-wrap to the front wrap. He manages to subdue the fish, but keeping hold of a flapping fish is a bit exhausting. As soon as he walks away, the fish goes limp, to lull the cat into a false impression of fishy submission. So the whole scenario repeats. The only down side is that fishy has to be recharged after a short time of play. Maybe this is intentional, so the cat can catch has breath before another foray... ... show more

  • These are so great!
They work very well and the cats LOVE them. Only problem is that they die so quick. I would have expected maybe a few days or a week out each, but they die within a day or two.

  • Low battery life/cat loves it
The battery dies kinda fast but still a fun toy for my cat. A little too sensitive to touch, would get annoying hearing it every time something hit it bc it would flop for a long time until it rested again

  • So good I had to get another
The cats loved this enough that one of the fish went missing since the first day. Be careful as some may not ship with a charging cord. The second pack (the clownfish & red carp pack) did not ship with charge cords. Luckily I still have the first set.
