The paper is absorbant and dries quickly, leaving no ink smears or bleeding. The cover colors are exactly as depicted on the listing which is always a plus. I liked the color combo of this set, plus the in-between size of some notebooks I already have. Still plenty of page writing room, but not so large to make it more difficult to tote around. It was a good thing it comes wrapped in it's own plastic sheaths besides the outer poly envelope ... the outer wrap was torn in transit on a heavy rain day. There was water inside the envelope, but fortunately for me, the notebooks did not get wet. I do wish, however, that a layer of bubble wrap had been used around them, since one has a minor cover crease. ... show more

I like these little notebooks, they feel quality and well made. They have a little divider in the front with a pocket to store loose sheets. Overall they look and feel well made. Sadly they are a bit small, not many pages per, not exactly sure how many but seems about 100 pages each. Each page is nicely perforates which is great. The board which makes up the front and back covers is strong enough that these should stay in pretty decent shape throughout their useful lives. Price seems reasonable for a stylized notebook - though if you're just looking purely for amount of paper / value you could definitely get cheaper notebooks elsewhere. ... show more

The first page inside is actually has front & back little storage pockets for tucking in receipts or other papers. The bright white notebook paper is lined (medium width) with grey ink. The cover colors of cream and sage are pretty. Overall classy vibe pretty enough to leave out on a desk. All the pages are perforated for easy removal (no hole punches). The folder inside the notebook is handy to hold smaller paper/notes. It comes with perforated edge that makes it easy and less messy to tear off the page. The thickness of the paper is good. There is no bleeding with pen and only slight bleeding when writing with markers. The notebooks come with soft cover that one of them arrived with creases on the cover. It looks like the notebook got damaged by other items packed in the same box. It will be better if there is additional packaging for protection.
