These cables are awesome. I purchased a new 4k 75 inch Samsung tv and used my old hdmi cables(7 years old). The picture looked fine, but a friend told me to replace them with these to get the best quality picture. I thought nothing of it, but boy was he right. took no more than 1/2 hour to install and run wires. very straight forward to assemble and install. Be sure to be exact when outlining with the template (level and dimensions) as there is not a lot of forgiveness in regards to the entire dimensions of the plate.

It was delivered exactly as it was described. All the parts that were needed for installation were included, even a wall opening template. Looks pretty good, although it is behind the TV and is never really seen. The instructions were brief but sufficient. The price was right. It fit and it worked.

Everything about this was garbage. Normally when you hear "plastic" in "plastic electric box" you're talking about a durable ABS or PVC that is fairly sturdy and can withstand being installed and having plugs plugged in and pulled out. This product is plastic like a plastic kids toy from a fast food restaurant that has been baked in the sun; brittle, fragile, and weak. I installed 7 PVC boxes without issue before I attempted to install this trash. I used the included template which makes the hole too small for the box with the mounting hardware attached. Once I recut and got it to fit, I tried attaching the box to the faceplate with a screwdriver. The included box snapped at the mounting point. I installed a new standard old work box and put it all together. The first time I plugged in a power cable, the whole faceplate snapped. I'm done. Save yourself the money and trouble. Buy something this isn't this piece of hot garbage. ... show more

The kit includes a junction box for the new outlet but it has unsecured openings for your Romex: no wire clamps. So you'll have to get a new one and throw this one away. Included receptacle also seems cheaply made; better to replace that as well. Annoying, but product otherwise acceptable.
