  • It works but is a little tight
Style: 1U 12Port
The title says it all

  • Solid panel
Style: 1U 24Port
Well built standard 1U, 24-port patch panel for standard racks. The panel itself has a backplate with slots for 24 Keystones. It's pre-filled with black plastic Ethernet Cat6 Couplers. The back bar is removable and comes with a reusable cable tie system. This cable tie system is a single long plastic piece that's clipped into the back bar. If that is to be removed, it was the usual slot for cable ties. The pre-installed tie system can be very useful but it doesn't bite into the cable, so this limits its usefulness. The other issue is that while the panel itself even comes with a grounding cable, the keystones are not shielded. It's great for DYI and semi-permanent installations. ... show more

  • Good value for a rack mount patch panel
Style: 1U 24Port
Pros: • Smart Cable Management: The patch panel's innovative design eliminates the need for cable ties, making cable organization more straightforward and environmentally friendly. • Toolless Termination: With 24 Cat6 Keystone couplers, installation is quick and easy without requiring additional tools, saving time and effort. • Flexible Expansion: The couplers are replaceable, allowing easy upgrades for future needs such as adding HDMI, fiber adapters, or coax couplers. • Durable Build: The 1U, 24-port panel is well-constructed and fits seamlessly into standard 19-inch racks, ensuring stability and longevity. Cons: • Packaging Issues: Some users reported receiving bent components due to insufficient packaging, which may affect usability without extra care. • Non-Shielded Keystones: The provided keystones are not shielded, which may be a drawback for those requiring enhanced protection in high-interference environments. Item Summary: The 24 Port Patch Panel Cat6 Keystone is a well-designed network solution ideal for both professional and DIY setups. It features a tool-free installation process with Cat6 Keystone couplers, making setup quick and efficient. Its smart cable management system removes the need for cable ties, improving organization and sustainability. The flexibility to replace couplers for future expansions is a great advantage for evolving setups. However, it's important to check the packaging, as some reports indicate potential damage during shipping. Final Thoughts: This patch panel offers excellent value for money, especially for those looking to simplify their network setup. Its tool-less design, flexible upgrade options, and easy cable management make it stand out from traditional punch-down panels. While packaging improvements and shielding on keystones could enhance the product, it still provides significant functionality for most users. Overall, it’s a reliable choice for both home and business networking environments. Amazon Vine Program: This is a review of a product received for free via the Amazon Vine Program. • Excellent patch panel
Style: 1U 12Port
This 1U patch panel for a 10" cabinet is of excellent quality and comes with mounting hardware. I love the built-in cable management system and the fact that the cat6 couplers are already mounted. It's also nice that the couplers are replaceable. I recommend.

  • Decent small Patch Panel
Style: 1U 12Port
I ended up mounting this on the back of one of my shelves. I purchased two rails from amazon so I can adjust the width. This is a 1/2 width patch panel (not full width). The picture should show a full 1U vs the 10" version to ensure people purchase the proper patch panel. While I knew what I was getting not everyone may feel the same if they do not read through everything. ... show more

  • Works well for home lab
Style: 1U 12Port
I have a small 16RU rack in my basement for my home network setup. This patch panel is a nice addition to help keep the cables neat and organized. I found the included jacks were easy to use and terminate the cat6 on. the metal frame was sturdy and doesn't flex much under normal use. Overall I would highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Cool Idea, Needs Improvement
Style: 1U 24Port
While I like the fact that it has RJ45 coupler style keystones rather than punch downs, I am not completely sold on this tie-down method. Its great in theory, but not working all that well at least for me. The ratcheting cable hold-down clips work but seem flimsy. The tie-down plate is not permanently affixed to the patch panel faceplate and is somewhat loose. The arms that lock it into place are also flimsy therefore easily bendable. They certainly wouldn't be if it was all one piece. I guess you could glue them together but shouldn't have to. When mine was delivered, the packaging was broken on three sides and the two pieces were separated outside in the shipping box. The tie-down piece’s arms were both bent pretty badly. Not a great design or packaging. I did test some of the RJ45 keystone couplers which at least passed 10Gb without issue. The grounding conductor is a nice touch however unnecessary for me personally. Bare minimum, the tie-down component needs to be beefed up or more preferably, permanently affixed to the patch panel faceplate. ... show more

  • Saves a lot of headache in a constantly changing rack.
Style: 1U 24Port
I will note the keystones are not shielded, even though the patch panel itself is, I had my own shielded keystones that worked great, and wider keystones fit with no issue. The packaging wasn't great however, and the ears for the panel, and the wire manager, both came bent.
