  • So good it feels like a gift.
Size: 2m/6.5ft
I’ve been deeply associated with Audio and Video products over the last four decades, back to my early twenties to be more precise. Speckers, Amplifiers, Preamps, Turntables, D to A converters and the latest TV products. I am not one to swear that cables do not make a difference. Try using silver plated cables, in place of a copper one and you’ll notice the difference. There will be an overall increase in brightness and texture between the two, this is especially noticeable in audio. Now, to be candid, I have never been able to afford some of the more exotic products out there, but I do know when a well-made cable that exhibits high value to the everyday consumer comes around, and the Zeskit Maya, is one of those products. The Zeskit Maya is an ultra-high speed HDMI cable which is very modestly priced on the internet. As the story goes, I had just purchased a new OLED model TV when I realized that the existing cable between my older TV (the one I was replacing) and my Apple device, had been there for a couple of years. However, the existing cable was an expensive HDMI cable from a well-known provider. Eventually, I did decide to upgrade my existing cable and in doing so, I struggled with the fact that I already had a high-tech cable in place, from a well-respected brand that was also quite expensive. Furthermore, I wasn’t sure it would make a difference. After all, the quality of noticeable improvements diminishes after a certain point, paralleling the cost in the hierarchy of getting better and better audio components. Nevertheless, with its low cost I took a chance, after all, I could return it if it didn’t live up to its performance - as cited by its many positive reviews. My new TV that I just purchased was the Sony A90J and its picture, using my existing cable, was already outstanding. So, when I installed the Zeskit Maya Ultra I didn’t expect to find much of an improvement, if any …boy, was I wrong! Now you’re not going to gasp at the difference, but you will see, (readily) a definite picture improvement. The picture will seem calmer, (removal of the last ounce of noise, my explanation) clearer and will give you more of a solid definition to images, and colors were also a smidgen better. Even after replaying movies that I was familiar with everything consistently looked beautiful with this cable. Being suspicious of what I was seeing, I decided to change the connection with other HDMI cables, (confiscated from two other TVs in the house.) Each time the improvements were clearly evident. So, what is going on with a 6.5-foot 9.99 cable? Since I’m not an engineer in Electromechanics I’m not sure! Zeskit states they use a “Solid OHFC copper connection, which eliminates stand-interaction distortion and reduce jitter.” I would think there would be another company out there that uses an OHFC connection for video the same way, but I’m not sure! So can the improvements be associated with my specific TV interface and its internal picture resolution software – and simply be a one off, I don’t think so. I believe this is a well-made cable (it has that feel) that has solid engineering behind it, from a company that doesn’t feel it needs to charge an exorbitant price to deliver an outstanding consumer product. I have watched many of my favorite movies since and I can’t help feeling, this was a wonderful and generous gift from Zeskit …to us all. I think it is that simple. Thank you Zeskit, keep making affordable products we can all enjoy. Bobby J ... show more

  • A great short 8K cable. If you are looking for longer cables, those are available too.
Size: 2m/6.5ft
I purchased this 1 meter Zeskit cable for my interconnect between my Oppo UDP-205 Ultra HD Disc Player and my Denon AVR-x6700H receiver. For my longer 10 Meter run from my receiver to my projector I use the Cable Matters model 300047 8K HDMI 2.1 10 meter Active Optical Ultra High Speed Certified cable, connected to an 8K e-shift upscaling JVC RS3000 projector and an 8K capable Denon AVR-X6700H receiver and an Oppo UDP-205 Blu-Ray player. Both this cable and the much longer Cable Matters cable perform flawlessly and both of them easily passed the Denon ultra high speed cable test at 40GBPS on the Denon receiver. There is supposedly is 8K material available -- search for 8K on youtube (Sony and others have posted 8K material) but unless you can process these streams at 8k all the way through the process, the best is output is really just an augmented 4K -- pixel interpolated/upscaled via processors and pixel shift technology to 8K. Nonetheless, I have attached some photos of my testing of this cable coupled with the Cable Matters 300047 cable and I am thoroughly impressed with it and would enthusiastically recommend it. All of the attached photos were taken with the picture paused on a 135" Stewart StudioTek 130 G4 screen with an iPhone 11 from the front row of my theater (with the exception of the Denon Cable test photos). The pictures of the Cheetah and the Fly were taken with 8K source material at the start, but then streamed via a 4K Firestick to the Denon 8K receiver (so really 4k with some processor upscaling using the 8K Denon output to the projector) and then the projector using its additional 8K upscaling capability. Still, will all this going on, to my eyes, the picture is absolutely stunning on a quality 135" screen. The Monitor Lizard photo was also taken using a freeze frame from the Oppo UDP-205 using a UHD 4K Planet Earth II video disc, which is an exceptionally sharp 4K source. I even had the closet light on in the back of the room and these pictures still came out nicely -- showing the fine focus details this projector can produce when given a high quality source. The colors are outstanding as well. For those that are interested, the Cable Matters 300047 10 meter Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 8K certified cable is sold via Amazon for $99, which I think is an incredible value for a 10 meter cable of this quality and capability. https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-300047-BLK-10m-HDMI/dp/B08GMC7C91/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=cable+matters+300047&qid=1616100705&sr=8-3 ... show more

  • Great quality at affordable price
Size: 1.5m/5ft
Pros: packages well. You can tell they think about everything. Even a little tan to help pull out the cable. Nice touch . They included covers on the ends and a Velcro strap. 2 year warranty is nice. Seems like a great cabel so far . I'm using for my XBox X series. Cons: none so far . I went with the Maya cabel at 5 ft. It was just enough, I would of got the 6.5 if I had to purchase again. I would recommend. I'm Beef and that's what I bought. ... show more
