My wife and I don't go through a lot of clothes, so they ended up piling up until we had a full load over several weeks or more. We hate to waste a lot of water and electricity just to do a smaller load. This unit was perfect for the price. I've done about 20 loads with it so far, and it works really well. The spin dryer side balances nicely and gets the clothes very dry so that they only have to hang for a short time, and everything has come out very clean. The one downside is that there is more manual intervention and steps than there would be with a conventional machine, but that's to be expected for what it is. That all being said, the directions of use were a bit fuzzy for me, so I wrote up my own to try to make it clearer. They aren't perfect, but I thought it might be helpful and you may need to tweak them for your own needs. They are as follows: Wash - Make sure the middle knob is on wash or soft, not on drain - Fill washer no more than halfway with clothes (adding water will make them swell) - Fill with water until it’s a couple of inches above clothes - Turn left timer to 5 minutes - Soak for 10 minutes - Add laundry soap - Turn timer 10-15 minutes Rinse - Turn middle knob to drain - Put half the clothes in the right side - Pour some water over the clothes on the right side - Put the cover into the basin - Turn right knob to 1-3 minutes - Swap clothes from left side with right - Pour water of clothes on right side - Put the cover into the basin - Turn right knob to 1-3 minutes - Put clothes from right side back into left - Turn center knob back to wash or soft - Fill with water to a couple of inches above clothes - Add fabric softener - Turn left knob to 10-15 minutes Spin - Turn middle knob to drain - Put half the clothes into the right side - Put cover into basin - Turn right knob to 5 minutes - Hang clothes to dry - Put remaining clothes into right side - Put cover into basin - Turn right knob to 5 minutes - Hang clothes to dry ... show more

I love this machine. It's perfect for washing a load of rags or washing a light winter coat, or washing the few reds I have instead of wasting a full-sized washer load. I have a full-sized regular washing machine, but I actually use this more than I use it.

I think this washer is great so far. I only have a few issues with it. One is the hose attachment. One end fits on the washer but the end that's needed to attachments to sink or tub is useless. So, the best bet is to fill the washer with shower hose or water from a bucket. On the inside are lines that read from low to high, according to load. My second issue is the spinner. When using the spinner you must make sure it's full to the top, then add the spin holder to keep the clothes from flying out. If there's any room in that spinner and the clothes aren't filled to the top, you might end up breaking it bc it will spin out of control. Then last issue I have is the fact that if you put pants in the washer machine like jeans it throws of the washer. They're too heavy. If you're a plus size person, you might be better off washing jeans by hand. Other than these issues, I'm pleased with my purchase and would recommend this product to save on time and cost at these ridiculously over-priced laundromats.😉🫢 ... show more

Ok...so I bought for an attic. 1st off, read the reviews. 2ndly, watched all of the videos. Yes, ideal for a small space as it is very compact. It isn't exactly quiet as the turn dial ticks as it counts down the time (and we bought 3...they all tick). The spin out side is quite powerful. I don't even think we use past 1 minute to drain. So that part works extremely well! But as for the washer...well...I'm a heavier person. And after watching the reviews, I don't know how they are fitting anything more than 1 pair of jeans at a time. I tried to put 1 pair of jeans and a sweater and it just stalled out. I had to remove the sweater (a light shirt like sweater) and allow the jeans to wash alone. So for winter clothes (thicker articles) I'm going to have to take double time to get the job done. My summer dresses/clothes can be washed with about 3-4 articles in 1 load (since most of my summer stuff is lightweight or sheer). The spin side does shake hard. So...when placing this somewhere, you must be sure it is a stable placement. The plastic pieces are thin and cheap so you must be careful and delicate with your handling of the attachments. It's small but useful. Tedious at times but does the job. I suggest 1 load a day to keep your laundry at bay. And NO, IT CANNOT do any sheets, covers, or anything too big or heavy. ... show more

    • 1 year in... No more schlepping to the basement!
I've had this for close to a year now and just recently started using it almost daily. It's awesome. I live in a small Brooklyn 1 bedroom and was tired of going to the dark basement and using the machines full of everyone else's pet hair. This washer holds a decent amount--maybe ~1/4 of my normal clothes load. I wash delicates with it, but if they're really delicate I'll put them in a bag so they don't get twisted on other clothing. It definitely agitates--that's for sure. I fill a collapsible bucket with the bathtub faucet and pour it into the washer basin. It takes 2 bucket rounds to fill all the way, so it's much more manual of a process compared to a machine with water hookups. I didn't use this as much when I worked 9-5 at the hospital, but now that I work from home, I enjoy the excuse to get up from my desk and move my body a bit while accomplishing laundry. I think this will allow me to have a much smaller wardrobe because it's so easy to do a load or 2 each day in between other tasks. The spin function is AMAZING and gets the clothing so dry compared to wringing. I then dry stuff on racks in front of a fan. Works fine even in the humid summer.
