I am something of a candle connoisseur, and I am declaring this candle one of the best I have ever burned. While I am not wild about the lavendar scent, it has everything you want in a candle and is very high quality. The burn is slow & even, and the jar barely gets hot! I left this candle burning for a couple hours (as you always need to do on the first light), and the top of the jar was barely even warm. I also noticed that the entire house smelled like this candle after about an hour of burning, so it exceeded my expectations on putting out the scent. I live in a 16' x 72' trailer, so that gives you an idea of the square footage this candle was able to cover. I have burned a lot of candles in my time, and I know a good one when I burn it. I would probably go for the vanilla scent, if I had it to do over, but this is definitely one of the best candles I have ever encountered. Highly recommend!! ... show more

The way this candle came packaged I really wanted it to be the greatest smelling candle I've ever lit, but those hopes faded quickly after lighting it, as it didn't have much of a scent at all (until almost the end, then there was a noticeable scent, but it was too late already). I will say, though, that in terms of gifting this to someone, the presentation is WONDERFUL...the unboxing is an experience and it all is just put together so well that you really can't go wrong in a gifting case. It's not like whoever you're gifting it to is going to light it up and check for the scent right there, right? Lol, so yeah, it's great for a gift, and that would have been enough for 4 stars on this, BUT I feel like the price point is too high for it. Like if someone gave me this as a gift, I'd be super happy just opening it, but if they somehow left the tag on it or saw the price, I would've been like, "Well, you might as well have gone Yankee if you were going to pay that for it". This candle exudes quality, love the amber glass and the wax is very high quality and melts evenly. It also dosent put out a lot of soot or smoke which is great. The cinnamon scent smells amazing and is very strong. The Palo Alto smells good too but its not really my taste. This would make an excellent gift for a loved one or a gift for yourself. Price is pretty competitive considering the quality and ingredients used. Highly recommended! ... show more

I love candles, but have to be selective in the type of wax used, as well as the scent. I only buy candles that are scented with essential oils and not chemical fragrances. Vanilla is one of my favorite scents, so I anticipated this ZENURA aromatherapy candle would smell pleasant….and I was correct. Upon opening the box, I could barely smell a faint vanilla fragrance, but when I removed the candle and took the lid off, the scent was a little more noticeable. However, it was not strong or overwhelming. The natural cotton wick lights easily and burns evenly. As the candle burns, you can smell a light scent of vanilla in the air, but again it’s not strong. If I’m close to it in the same room, I can smell it, but the fragrance isn’t so strong that you smell it throughout the house. Overall this is a very nice candle. The amber color jar and real wood top look classy, and the box it’s packaged in is nice and would make for a great presentation if one wanted to give it as a gift. I love that the ingredients are clean, I’d definitely order this again, I think it would make a nice gift, and I highly recommend it for a healthier candle-burning experience. ... show more
