We got this ring for our claw-foot tub but the ends aren't adjustable, so it can't be aligned over the bath. I saw hacks online for using shower curtain rods and such to make it work, but it seems like a really easy fix to just make it adjustable or add more rails to be sure the distance from wall to tub is adequate. Unfortunately we ended up putting it aside in hopes that one day we'll be bothered to actually find a way to install it, but beware that you must measure before you order to be sure it will even work. ... show more

Be prepared to have your own screws, the ones the seller provided were trash. Only two were usable. Had to drill out the holes in one pipe because the powder coating covered the holes. If you don't have the tools to do this, it would be challenging.

Looking for an adjustable rectangular curtain rod for your shower? Look no further! This is the one to get. Who on earth has a tub and/or shower that's the right distance from the wall, or has the right height ceiling to work with all of the non-adjustable rectangular shower curtain rods out there? Does anyone else think it's crazy that most of them aren't adjustable? While this one does require some work with cutting the metal tubes, it can be customized in every dimension except the width and I was able to get a perfect custom installation in my 100 yr/old home for an antique clawfoot tub. The manufacturer intends for some of the tubes to be cut for custom sizing: - the adjustable tube for ceiling height - the tubes mounting to the wall for distance from the wall However, the rectangle itself is not really intended to be adjusted, but you can technically cut the tubes to make it a shorter length. It is NOT possible to cut the tubes to adjust the width; only the length. I love how the bigger frame makes my shower feel so much more spacious now! ... show more
