I was all happy to stick this over the toilet in the guest bath, and it slid fine over the toilet, so I was surprised when my husband said it didn’t fit. I went to see what he meant, and if you raise the lid, it hits the bottom of the shelf and won’t lift all the way/stay up.     • Gives me the space I need
It’s been two months since I put this up and I’m overall pleased. This was easy to assemble, even while I was tired and in a rush, and light enough to carry into my bathroom once assembled. It feels sturdy and is a perfect fit for my space - both physically and stylistically. It provides quite a bit of extra space and, so far anyway, it’s more than enough for what I need so it won’t end up looking stuffed. Issues? The back support bar is attached after this is put in place behind the toilet and that was just something I couldn’t do given that this is an exact fit. Fortunately, anchoring it to the wall stops any wobble or potentially bowed legs. If you have a tight space, plan to anchor this to the wall. This next one is on me - I forgot to measure the height of my toilet which mattered because I have one with those top-of-tank flush buttons. Out of box this fits flush against my tank making those buttons inaccessible. Again, this was entirely my fault. Fixed this by stacking foam slider feet under each leg to give the extra inches needed. (I plan to replace these with more sturdy furniture risers in the future. ... show more

Bought two, used in my daughters dorm room. One in the bathroom over the toilet. The other over her college dorm refrigerator and microwave. Worked out perfect in both places.

    • assembly was difficult
It is not easy to see how parts fit together; but finally I figured it out. The shelves are easy to install and the bolts hold to the frame quite well. The worst problem occurred when I put in some small metal screws that are at about the level of the toilet seat. These screws, were so difficult to put in that I put some vice grips around the head of the screw to get it in, of course, the screw broke off in the hole. You can get extra parts from the seller. but I went to the hardware store. Then I took my electric drill and was successful getting the right diameter hole. Whew, the screws were in. The bottom bar was installed behind the toilet and the fixture was solid. I put in the wall anchors which were not the greatest perhaps anchor bolts that would go through the plaster board would be better. The bolt on the left went into a wood beam just fine. Thank god they put wood in my new apt the consistency of balsa wood. When I finally finished it was solid and couldn't be moved. The shelves are made of wire and I wasn't sure some of the smaller bottles and whatever would fall into or slip between the wires, so I put some 4 ply cardboard that I mount photographs on and covered them with contact paper. It was more effort than necessary. And this is not a fixture for people who are not handy with tools. Good Luck? Robert ... show more
