These paints are not workable after an hour. They give the feel of oil paints but I would not recommend them if you’re trying to achieve higher quality paintings. Use these to practice color mixing and technique to get your feet wet, but it’s not going to give professional results. It also does not cooperate with oil mediums, it becomes clumpy and unworkable. Love this paint, I appreciate the long time it takes to dry, as I am a beginner with oil paints. The paint is creamy and blends well. The only complaint I have is one tube ended up being acrylic. I need to color for a painting I'm doing, so this does set me back. Will contact seller to see if i can get a tube. Edit** I have contacted the seller and they were very professional and very very fast to respond! Sophie reached out to me about the tube being acrylic and within 4 days, I got the replacement! BMS USA sent replacements for the other tubes as well, which was unexpected and truly they went above and beyond!! I love this paint and have started my journey on oil painting. If you ever need a wonderful paint that is forgiving, professional, buttery textured, and gives you no issues, Zenacolor Oil Paint is the BEST paint to use and you will not be disappointment. ... show more

I have to say the colors are beautiful however I don't believe this is oil paint that I ordered bc oil paint from my experience does NOT wash off with water I typically wash my brushes with mineral spirits it's the only way I get my brushes clean this brand however not only drys very quickly but cleans up with water I also am not able to spread my paint or shade like I would normally bc again it drys so Quick.... I should have known 48 paints for 20 bucks had an underlying issue. ... show more
