Great for teaching the basics of watercolor to youth! They blend, swatch, and maintain their intensity well. My boyfriend bought me this set as I started messing around with watercolors, him and I have both had a lot of fun with the different colors in here. I can't really speak on quality in comparison to other brands apart from basic crayola ones since I'm more of a beginner, but these seem really smooth and are lasting us a long while so far. Considering the size, you think the paint would go quicker but it does NOT! I really like that they put a swatch paper in it, that helps me choose my colors better. This is a very nice set of watercolors. Small enough to carry in the field with a very pretty, sturdy box. My only problem was that when doing the included color swatch sheet, I discovered that I did not actually have Crimson Lake or Dark Red...they had accidently been filled with dark green and dark turquoise. I am brand new to watercolor painting, but after seeing these paints all over TikTok I had to buy them. I am so glad I did! The colors are highly pigmented and vibrant, the paint is super easy to work with and blends beautifully, the neons are definitely neon, the candy colors are so soft and creamy, and the metallics are sparkly but not glittery. The pans are a bit in the small side but are easy to transfer to a palette. I wish the case came with one like others I’ve seen. My biggest problem with them, really isn’t even a problem with the paint at all but more so customer service through the Grabie website. I asked for a replacement swatch sheet since my cat decided my water cup looked like fun to knock over onto my 1/2 completed swatch sheet. Now all the colors have bled together on the sheet, and I can’t tell what’s what. Grabie doesn’t seem to be of any help. ... show more

I have tried a lot of watercolors and I have really enjoyed these. There were several 1⭐ reviews that had to do with damage and one was a missing swatch sheet. That's frustrating, but sometimes you're going to get a damaged package. But as far we the product itself, I have enjoyed the wide array of colors and metallics, I have been able to layer them or not and they are bold and brilliant. They have lasted a long time and I have been using and using them. I have been able to use them with acrylic marker, mix them with other watercolors, and with watercolor pencils.
