These are some of my favorite pens and I was thrilled to find this large pack with so many lovely colors. I had the vintage colors (which don’t appear to be duplicated in this package!) and now I have every color I need. I love they way they feel and write. Zebra makes excellent products (see my review on their midliners) and I am happy that Amazon is carrying them. I use them mostly in my planners and journals, but they certainly could be an everyday pen as well. The flow of the ink is smooth and I don’t find they bleed through most papers at all. I haven’t tried extremely thin paper (such as bible paper), so I can’t say they never do, but I haven’t had an issue. I really like them and I highly recommend this set! ... show more

I will start by saying that my all time favorite clickable gel pens are the Pilot G2 0.7 and 1.0 mm pens. But I can't find a very wide variety of colors in the G2 0.5mm (10-pack is the most I've found so far). So when I saw this selection of 20 colors of Zebra Sarasa Clip Retractable Gel 0.5mm gel pens and saw that they got good reviews, I thought I'd give them a try. Well, I'm VERY happy I did. - The Zebra Sarasa doesn't have QUITE as smooth a writing touch as the .7mm G2's, but with a .5mm tip, I don't expect the pointier contact surface to feel exactly the same. And I don't find the difference in smoothness at all objectionable. My only remaining questions were a) the hues and saturation levels of the Zebra Sarasa Clip Retractable Gel color selection, b) how well the click/clips work, c) how they feel in the fingers when used and d) the ink quality (water-fastness, archival, etc.). I can speak to the first three, and the claims of Zebra say this is archival ink and water resistant, but I haven't had a chance to test that yet. - I've been spoiled (in a good way) by the 36 gorgeous colors of the Pilot G2 .7mm, so my first task with the Zebra Sarasa Clip Retractable Gel .5mm's was a writing and coloring test on some of my favorite papers. The .5mm Sarasas came through VERY well. Totally satisfied. See attached photo. I provided written and color-swatch samples to show both aspects of the ink's visual appearance on paper. - highly reliable clickers and clips are important to folks who use their pens frequently, and I'm finding the Sarasa clicker and clip work just as desired with no complaints. While the clicker design is different from the G2, they work very well on all the shirts and other surfaces I like to clip pens to (notebook spirals, etc.) and the click is both gratifying and stays in place (doesn't un-click like some flakier pens). - there's nothing more annoying than a pen that lays down a great line or color-swatch but feels awful in your fingers. The Sarasa .5mm feels just fine as I use it, with no complaints of any kind, plenty firm, no slipping, and very comfortable. I look forward to taking these pens out of their case every time the occasion arises. ... show more

Absolutely love these pens. I use them daily in all my journals. They have a nice, fine tip which makes writing in small places very easy. They look great and they are fast drying so they don’t smudge like other gel pens. When I finish these I will look to order the bigger pack with more colors. I originally found these pens when I purchased the 14-piece journaling set that came with seven of the double tip Midliners and seven of the Sarasa pens. I feel in love with the pens then and have struggled to find other colors since then. After finding the whole set here at a very affordable price, I HAD to have them and I don't regret the purchase. Buy these pens. Use these pens. Buy a back up set of these pens. The colors are bright and vibrant, my set did not skip or blot like some gel pens I have tried. I don not find them scratchy. The flow is smooth, again, no drips, blots, or skipping. I've never had the pens to dry out. They don't blead through my planners or journals. For me, these are the absolute perfect pens and no doubt I will buy buying a back up set later, I could not ask or have designed a better set of pens. ... show more

Love these pens. They write well and are easy on the hands even when you are writing for a long time. However, not all the colors are correct. Some are even the same as the Sarasa clip milky ink. Be prepared to have duplicates of the same pen in the orange and pink colors.

I really like the sarasa gel pens. I bought this pack with the yellow one specifically in mind, because their yellow ink is opaque and visible unlike other yellow pens I have seen. Other colours are good too.

I've had the black and red versions of these pens for a long time now. Whenever I am doing homework or studying and want whatever I'm writing to be more permanent, I'm probably using a Zebra Pen Sarasa Clip. Some of the colors are close, but you can visually tell a difference on paper if writing side by side. One of my favorites from this pack is actually the gray color! Using that color makes it look like I wrote the text using a pencil. ... show more

I'm a big fan of Sarasa pens, but I didn't know about the Clip 0.5 fine point until a friend gave me the journaling set for my birthday. I loved it so much, I bought the full set of 20. Like another reviewer said, I only wish they had a set of 100 different colors. :) As I wrote on the paper in the first photo, using each of the pens: This twenty-pen set is a dream! for people, like myself, who love color! Each color in the set is clearly different from the other, and has a good mix of traditional and non-traditional hues. The colors of the rainbow, and then some! AND the inks all write smoothly! I can admit it - I'm TOTALLY in love with this fabulous set of rollerball pens! The packaging has a cutout in the back so you can pull it down, put the cover behind it, and stand the set up for easy access. The only color that is lacking is purple - it only has one hue, and it's more pink than a dark purple. I would have done away with the yellow to add a darker purple, if I had a choice. I paid $19.97 for the set. It is currently priced at $24.09, which I still think is a great deal. ... show more
