The mic is plug and play. Works well with iPhone and computer. It does distort at the higher volume settings so turn it down and it will sound fine.

I already own another microphone from ZealSound and it was so amazing that I had to get it for my friend since they told me their's recently broke. This microphone is very high quality for such a low price in comparison to other products that start around $100. Though at first, it may seem a little confusing to setup but it is very beginner friendly once you get started. The microphone was easy to set up. The extra pop screen was bought separately. My desk has a barrier that blocks the turn handle on the latch. Not really an issue just be aware of that if you're working in tight spaces. The setup itself is very easy and its nice that it comes with a usb-c adapter and iphone adapter so that you can use it with multiple devices. Once you connect you just go to your audio settings and set the input to the microphone and you are good to go. Very user friendly setup. At higher volumes there is a noticeable echo but that was not helped by the fact I'm operating in a corner space with no sound mitigation. Looking at other reviews though this is a common complaint. This is easily fixed by bringing down the volume of the microphone though and the echo completely goes away. Im writing this review just a couple days after using the product so can never be totally sure about the longevity, however I'm not worried about it because the microphone comes with a lifetime warranty and other reviews regarding their customer service seem to be on point. Works okay, I’m under the impression that they ise the same microphone parts they would in an iphone (what I have) with some fun jazzed up effects. Connectors are already acting ify after about 20 uses. I’d say if your looking for decent vocals, you’ll end up buying a $100 dollar mic anyways so just but the better mic. ... show more

Spent I don't know how many hours searching for a microphone that I would be comfortable using for my podcast/game streaming. This is by far worth the money for those who are looking to start a podcast or stream video game play. The sound quality in my recordings are crystal clear and it set up on my desk with ease. The cords do get a little clunky but I feed them under my desk and you don't really notice them if you have a place to "hide" them.
