Just bought this the other day. As a former radio station employee turned podcaster, I wanted new equipment but didn't want to go crazy spending too much money. I saw this and it seemed to have pretty consistently good reviews so I decided to go ahead and buy it. It came very quickly and once I opened the box it was all packed nicely inside foam cut outs and looked very nice. Set up was a breeze, I'm pretty sure even a novice would have no problems whatsoever. All I did was plug it in and everything worked very well. It does pick up background noise such as the TV, so if you have a loud home just be aware you might need to soundproof or find better noise canceling. Otherwise, so far everything feels sturdy, works well, and seems to be a good investment, especially for the price. Someday I might go fancy and buy expensive equipment. But for podcasts I think it'll do pretty well. Make sure you keep the box as everything fits in there just right. If I have any problems down the road I'll be sure to edit. For the price you really can't go wrong. I'm not sure what the deal was with other people saying they received the wrong microphone cord? I decided to purchase this product based on the reviews. Most of them say it is a great item for the price and I agree. I had been in need of headphones but had put off buying them because I didn't was between spending a lot of money or compromising for decent headphones, however when I saw this kit included some it worked out great. They feel comfortable and secure on the head though they are not noise cancelling, they still do the job and the cord is nice and thick which makes me trust it won't be ripping open anytime soon. The mic set up is lovely and easy. It took me a couple minutes to set up on my desk and it looks great and professional, it makes me want to record something. As for the mic itself it is of great quality. I needed one after the cheap lavalier mic I bought just did not hold up, and this has been great. The audio is clear and the mic's sensitivity is great as I've grown interested in making ASMR. All in all, a great purchase. Would recommend. ... show more

    • Everyone says Im really quiet
First off. 100% love the headphones. Excellent sound, Loud (literally have to turn everything down to 25% so my ears dont get blasted), soft, and I didn't feel like they make my ears sweaty. Wish the cord was on the other side or changeable. Would buy the headphones again. As for the mic and stand, not so much. Mic: Everyone at work, when gaming, on phone calls said I was quiet. There is no volume adjustment except for on your PC which when looking at the audio, only looked like it went up to 5% even with the mic right in front of my mouth speaking normally, 15% screaming into it like I was getting murked. There is no software to download, none that is registered on the computer for more EQ or other adjustment. Mic Stand and Kit: Pop filters and covers, basic. Nothing special. Does their jobs. Mic stand kinda flimsy. If your desk does not have enough room to for the clamp to grasp onto it will fall over. Even if it does, it still falls over eventually. I was not bang on my desk, I was not slamming on it. It was tight, secure on my desk and then slowly started to lean fell in my face. *chefs kiss*. The length is good, everything was pretty tight and adjustable but the clamp is not recommend for those with bars under their desk, lack of room for clamp, or even those with enough room and good, secure, area for the clamp. Still falls over. Would I recommend this kit? No, too quiet, clamp is too small (doesnt hold on to enough of the desk, small surface area coverage). 100% recommend the headphones though. *chef kiss* ... show more

This microphone is great, honestly. I've been through a few and by far this one sounds the best straight out of the box. You may find it does pick up some background noise, my computer fans that are relatively quiet produce a little noise that the microphone will pick up without any filters (Isn't really a bother), however, the moment I apply filters it immediately sounds perfect. The balance on the microphone is notable, you will enjoy this. It made me very happy lol. Great for Discord or any calls, Great for gaming, Perfect for streaming and recording. Doesn't come with any control panel, so you'll need to depend on your own software. If you have streamlabs and want to utilize this microphone for streaming/recording a few filters wouldn't hurt. The same goes for OBS. Be sure to go to your audio devices (Windows Control Panel), select the microphone, and update the sample rate from its default to 24 bit, 192000 Hz (Under the Advanced tab after you select the properties of the microphone in the bottom right of the window) so you can use what you paid for. <3 ... show more

Decent quality, instructions were outdated as they were meant for windows eight and 10 for those who still use those operating systems. Easy enough to set up but cannot get the echo out of the headset. Tried multiple applications, even tried it on a different PC/laptop, but still a really bad echo in the headset. Very limited controls on equalizer to fix any of it. Not much in the way of directions online either. So, not using the headset. Will have to use my original headset that I had. ... show more
