The media could not be loaded. We are doing an addition to our kitchen, we need a new table, already bought the chairs, which are very modern look, so we wanted a table that will look beautiful, modern and match our chairs, plus I needed to get the table soon so we know for sure the size and if we have to add a few extra square feet to the new addition. Well browsing locally, all tables were really out of our budget, so i started looking online but goodness they will cost an arm and leg also, so I came to Amazon for my rescue and found this beauty. Now letโ€™s talk about the table, super heavy, so you need two or three people to help you, when we opened the box , all came extremely well packed. All hardware needed inside the box and instructions. The table is letโ€™s say rock solid, the top is slate, which is the reason of being heavy, stunning top, beautiful color and lines, the base and the legs are metal, so this table can even be use outdoors and it wonโ€™t rust or top will get bad, cause is extremely well constructed. The assembly is just extremely easy each leg needs two bolts and just tighten real good and voila your table is finished in less than 10 minutes. All in all this will look amazing once my addition is finished, it will last a lifetime, even after weโ€™re not here my kids and grandkids will still enjoy it. The media could not be loaded. We bought it last week and its super amazing. The chairs are comfortable and assembly was quick and easy(just 3-4 hours for both dining table and 4 chairs). Looks sleek and sturdy. The only thing that could improve is the length and width( Could've been bigger)

    • The chairs donโ€™t slide into the table legs

The picture is deceiving. The table is so small and the legs are not wide enough for the chairs to slide through the table legs on all four sides. So the chairs will stick out on the side shorter ends of the table. I wish I could return it but the table was so heavy and I cannot lift it out of my house alone. Amazon should offer a sercvice whereby they take these products out of your home especially if they are not functioning as one would expect them to work. Even if return this table, there is no way to lift it out of the house. I am not strong enough to dot that. ... show more

Just a heads up, I knew this wouldnโ€™t be anything spectacular but I didnโ€™t expect it to look like something in a college kids dorm room either. Regret buying. Itโ€™s like a micro size of what it should be. Would be great as a kids play table
