Strangely it came out of the plastic wrap covered in sand/dirt. Thankfully it just washed off but was surprised since it was in a covering. That said it’s a great size and it’s perfect for what I need.

Love these heat-resistant mats. Heat doesn’t transfer to counter at all. Bought 2–one for my flat iron and the other for my styling tools (mat keeps my round brush in place when I set it down…before it would always roll off the counter and into sink.

This was is just supposed to be a simple purchase but when I got it and saw it's actually much larger than I thought and thick material. It matches my flat iron. It protects a wide space on my vanity.
