  • Sweet ebike for a sweet price! One month review/1000+ miles
Remember, this is a Chinese bike, getting parts from them may not be very easy. It is a sturdy bike! Welds are good, motor has good torque and its strong, generic shocks work well, generic mechanical 180mm disc brakes work decent, the 7 speed shimano shifter, gears and derailleur work well, the display is nice! Bright, gives a lot of info. The battery is a tank! It'll go a long ways. Top speed is 20. Pas 1 is 12, 2 is 14, 3 is 16, 4 is 18, and 5 is 20mph. Climbs hills like a champ! Tires are awesome! Very smooth and good in dirt and grass. Headlight and horn are sufficient. The brake light works even while the lights are off, which is nice. It also has cruise control if you hold down the - button on the display for 5 seconds, it will hold your current speed. And turns off if you brake, throttle, or pedal. The only complaint I have is the wobbly front fender. The back fender has a wire holding it in place. The battery uses samsung 50g cells, and is CE, and Rohs certified. The bike as a whole is certified by Fcc. And the charger is UL certified. I got the bike for 593 after tax with free shipping. Every other ebike I saw was atleast 900 or 1000 before tax and delivery fee, for all the same specs. A family member liked my bike so much, he bought 2! You can't beat the price! I recommend this bike! Thank you Zacro! One month review- 330 miles. I'm 150 lbs and got 30 miles on throttle only on the highest speed setting (20 mph) on a single charge. Also, my town is hilly. I wasn't going 20 the entire time, just normal city driving. I went 23.1 miles and still had half battery only using throttle, using a mixture of the speeds. And went 15 miles only pedaling using the lowest pedal assist, using only 1/4 battery. So it'll theoretically go 60 miles pedaling on the lowest speed setting. You have to put on the headlight and front fender when you get the bike, and also tighten the reflectors. I bought a front fender support and now it's solid, no more clunky front fender! I re adjusted the handlebars for a sleeker look and centered tail light. Folding the bike will fit in the back seat and the trunk of my 2007 Toyota camry. Be careful when folding it because it will scratch some of the paint off. Try some foam or tape. The back brakes went out after 300 miles, but all I had to do it re adjust them and now they're good to go! Do be careful in really loose terrain, they are good all terrain tires but they are not off road tires. The cut off for power is at 40 volts. 54.6 on full charge. You lose the 1st bar on the battery indicator at 1/2 battery. The controller runs at 10 amps and peaks at 20. So it really does run at 500 watts, and peaks around 1100 watts on a full battery. It's a very smooth running bike. I bought saddle bags for it and replaced the seat also. I'd say if you can get it for 700 or less, it's a good buy. Also, I do not believe you can get it over 20mph. It's a true class 2 ebike. I would like to get some wheel weights because the reflectors on the spokes throw off the center of balance while the wheel spins fast. It's definitely a head turner! I now have 1000+ miles. No major issues besides adjusting the brakes every so often. Still gets 30 mile range on pas 5 throttle only. My dad weighs 250lbs (bike has 264 limit) and he can get 40 miles using a mix of throttle and lower pedal assist. Both of his zacro ebikes work great as well. I took it off some dirt jumps... it can handle it... but I wouldnt suggest a prolonged beating. It's not ment for that... although it was fun. My biggest concern with hitting jumps is the folding mechanism and the front suspension fork. Welds are good. Also tried a mountain bike trail. up a 45 degree path with heavy root systems. I made it a 1/4 way up pedaling in pas 1. The bike is simply to big and heavy for such obstacles. Haha! I was surprised I made it as far as I did. Coming down was a little easier... a little. ... show more

  • Pretty good, especially for the money. A Few quirks
Mine was 549 after the coupon, I know it went up since then but I’d still recommend it. The 500w motor feels much stronger than others and it goes like stink all the way to the 19.9 cutoff. There is a way to get it slightly higher in throttle to 21mph but truth be told it was fiddling with the display, there’s no listed way of doing it. The battery is every bit of 15ah, I did 6 miles of throttle averaging 16mph and used one of the five bars. It’s not very easy to pedal normally but the pedal assist does engage quickly. The throttle is limited by your pedal assist level and is more on/off rather than modulating. This seems to be the case with many e-bikes so it’s not a huge ding. The disc rotors are large and work well, the pads didn’t rub out of the box but did require tightening to engage more fully. This is a very large bike for a folding bike, even folded it’ll take a good chunk of space but it’ll fit into a (large) car trunk without much issue. If it remains under 700 with the coupon I’d recommend it, e-bikes have come down considerably in price but a motor as lively as this with a battery this large is still 7, 8, often 900. Way better than they heybike mars at least ... show more

  • Nice ride!
Just tested out with my other e-bike on an 18 mile ride and both worked great! This one has better adjustment for seat and handlebar and got this for my wife who is short. This one is foldable and I’m able to put it in my trunk. It is heavier but got nice fat tire for all terrains. Battery seems to store more power than my other e-bike and this came all assembled unlike the other one where I have to put the front part together. Good buy and fun ride! ... show more

  • Seems well made!
Easy to assemble compared to my last e-bike that involved front wheel installation. This you simply unfold from the box. Good looking bike but front fender isn’t side braced which I missed when I purchased it so I imagine it will have vibration issues. I will look for a brace for it. Have the battery charging and will try the ride later. For the price it looks like a really good buy. Description I believe says wheels are 26” but they are 20” x 4” which is what I thought. Step through clearance is higher than I hoped but I hope it will work out. ... show more

  • Great Value
Included packaging photos, as it's very important to get a non damaged bike, which was done well. Also the bike came in a week from order on time. Bike itself was very easy to get up and running. Factory setup; brakes, derailleur, electronics, was spot on. Bike is heavy, but very sturdy. All folding and quick release mechanisms are good quality, as is the overall bike itself. Motor torque is strong and limited to 20 mph. Battery range is excellent, especially at pedal assist. Price to spec., and quality is why I rate 5 star. Update: Have to ammend 5 star rating. Have 105 miles and got a display problem that the seller can't or won't resolve by replacing part even though it's covered on their stated warranty. If anybody reading this can quide me to where I can purchase a display that will work on this bike; connector, spec., compatability, please let me know - the company has been no help at all. ... show more

  • Horrible Customer Service
I bought this bike and I like it very much. Battery charger stopped working on 2nd charge. I asked for a new charger. Zacro said to send them proof of charger not working. Huh?? How?? I plugged in charger to outlet and sent them photo that the light is already green (which means fully charged) when it should be red. They said that they need video proof. Huh??? How am I supposed to send video proof? I told them I would send them the bad charger and they can try it for themselves. No answer. Now I can't ride my electric bike because they will not answer me. $655 I paid and this is what I get. I only hope I can find a charger from a different company that will work to charge the battery. Very disappointed. After not hearing back, I asked if I could just buy a new charger......still no response. My daughter and I are very disappointed as we are missing the summertime bike riding weather because this company doesn't know how to respond to simple requests. 😢 ... show more
