Recently bought my 2012 F150 FX4 and was looking for some ideas to spruce it up. A long trip on some backroads at night, and I knew I had to look at lights. New headlights were out of my price range so I thought I would start with fogs. Came upon these when browsing for LED bulbs. Thought for around the same price, why not check them out. Liked what I read and saw in the ad and pulled the trigger. Live in Canada and ordered around Christmas so thought I'd have to wait awhile. They arrived in about a week. Impressed. They were packaged very well and I was impressed with the build quality. Next step, install. Was breeze. Had old ones out and new ones in in under 20 mins. Left wheels on. Didn't think it was worth the time to Jack up the truck and take off tires. I'm impressed with the light output. They are bright. Need to go back to adjust them up a bit more. But had to go to work so that'll wait until tomorrow. Loving the look of them. The darker housing makes the fog light area of the truck look meaner and fit the black/white look I'm going with. The OEM fogs stood out like a sore thumb. I highly recommend these lights. Great value, easy to install and build quality are what stand out. ... show more

    • Works great in a 2008 Ford Ranger
Style: Single Bracket
When I first bought my 2008 Ranger I had to replace the fog light housings, since the lenses were both cracked by rocks and such. I decided to go with OEM housings and LED bulbs. That was a mistake. Yes, they were pretty bright, but the housing weren't designed for LED bulbs, so the fog lights basically became flood lights, which judging by the sheer number of people flashing their brights at me, were pretty blinding to oncoming traffic. I ran with those for less than a year, before deciding to try out dedicated LED fog lights. Let me tell you; these are by far better than the stock fog lights with halogen bulbs, and wayyy better than the stock fog lights with LED bulbs. These are just as bright as headlights, albeit not as much throw. I've actually accidently driven around a few times at night with just the fog lights on, thinking my headlights were also on, they're that good. They also have excellent cutoff, limiting the blinding of oncoming drivers. The only downside is that you have to use the stock fog lamp cradles(the plastic piece that is actually the piece you bolt into the bumper, and holds the fog lamps in.) If you don't have the factory fog lamps, or yours are broken, you'll have to source some new cradles, which might be difficult. I don't think they're available as separate pieces. ... show more

I put these on a 2013 F150 FX4 and the install was quick and easy. The housing is a solid metal and overall durability seems really good. Remove the adjustment screw that has a spring. From the outside use a lon flathead screwdriver to push one of the clips out on the mount, then from the inside push the other out and it will come out easy. There are videos online to see how its done. When putting the new ones in, mount the clip side that the adjustment screw goes into. If you try the other side first, the screw bracket side wont clear the housing. Very happy with the purchase so far, lets just see how long the LED's last. ... show more

These were a great upgrade to the front end of my F1 50. Easy to install, great light output, and look amazing. I waited three days to write this review, because I wanted to test them out thoroughly before rating them. Significantly brighter than stock, with a look that matches the factory HID headlamps. I weighed the cost of this versus buying LED bulbs, and these were a better value and brighter than I could’ve gotten was just changing the bulbs. My only complaint was in regards to the hardware supplied, the factory hardware fit better and gave a better overall installation. I have passed this comments back to the manufacturer, so hopefully future orders get stock replacement grade hardware. 10/10 recommend these over just changing the bulbs with LED bulbs in the factory housing. ... show more
