It is a great awning strap, its heavyweight and holds up well. My only problem which was a minor issue is that the metal insert does not have any give so it can be a little tricky to get it in the slot. But over all I'd recommend this product.

Works if you use this far to one side. If placed in the middle of your awning the metal tab sticks out to far and marks the vinyl awning.

It's a little thicker than the original, so I had to spiral it as I rolled up the awning to prevent the awning from buckling. The stainless steel pin fit in the slot with a little bit of coaxing. Nice build quality.

This strap worked great for about a month and then after getting wet a few times it shrunk. It now rolls up inside of the awning so I had to has a 6" loop of rope to the end so we can get the hook on the rope to pull our awning out.
