The spheres and big cubes these silicone trays make is really great for whiskey or other drinks where you want a slow melt. Unlike a typical plastic tray you can just mash and twist these until your ice pops out. I didn't fracture any ice doing that yet. Instead, you get nice large ice blocks. Now there are some drawbacks though. When full, the large cube trays can twist and spill a bit. They may also flex if you stack them, despite the hard plastic covers. Filling them is a bit tedious as for the cube shapes you have to fill each individual chamber carefully and for the sphere you have to use a funnel. Also, it does seem to take quite a long time for ice to freeze in these. If you have the patience to fill them and transport them to the freezer carefully, you get interesting looking and large ice. ... show more

Good silicon ice trays. The large tray makes 6 big old cubes and the round balls are a decent size as well as the smaller tray. They are easy to break out since yiu can just bend the trays any which way you need. The only issue is when your filling them and putting them in the freezer. The weight of the water is a bit much for the thin Silicone and will easily bend and spill water all over. Overall a good assortment of ice cubes and sizes, great for any cold drink. ... show more
