By way of transparency, I have a “thing” about ice cubes. I am on a perpetual search for how to make perfect ice, colorless and crystal clear. And purpose-fit to the way it will be used, taking into account the desired shape and size of the ice required. I’ve used this item for the past two weeks. I’ve made 4 separate sets of ice with it. This item is very well suited to its very specific use-case to fit into a Stanley cooler. It is very well designed and constructed. The silicon mold is sturdy so it will not easily rip or tear, yet it is also flexible to enable you to extract the cubes from the mold without excessive effort. It should be noted if you find it too hard to begin to remove a cube you can simply hold the mold upside down under warm water for a minute. The diameter of each section of the mold is perfectly calibrated to the shape of the interior of the Stanley. This fit enables the most important feature, which is the effectiveness and duration of the cooling. Effectively, the uniform width of the wall of each section enables them to melt at the same rate. This even melting enables you to know the degree to which your flavored drink is being diluted by the ice, so once you’ve used it a few times you’ll develop a sense of how frequently you want to top off your drink. You could say I am a little bit of an ice cube tray & mold collector - for trays and molds that have unique shapes. I saw these and couldn't resist. Received them quickly and immediately put them to work - these are great ice cube molds, high quality, and super useful in my insulated mugs and cups! I bought this one specifically after carefully reading on reviews for each different ice trays and this one is by far the best one to get!! It’s very easy to take the ice out as long as you read the instructions for this ice tray that states before taking out the ice to let it sit in warm water for 20seconds , ice pops out easily. I had another one of these that was 3 rings but in a straight line, my mom stole it when she came for a visit. So I saw this one that had 4 cubes and thought it would be better for the bigger cups. I do like the 4 sized, however this is very flimsy and not easy to carry and place in the freezer. I have a small cutting board that I put under this to place in the freezer. We have used this on multiple types of cups. The different sizes work in different cups and you don't have a chunk of ice the deal with at the bottom of the cup. Easy to use with a straw

    • Hard to get ice out and didn't fit in bottle

Seems like a great idea, but getting the ice out is very difficult. After struggling for a while, we got the ice out, but none of the ice fit in our water bottle. Our water bottle has a 2 inch opening, but not a single one of the 4 cubes of the ice fit the bottle. I would not recommend.
