Needed a portable tackle solution that allowed me to move and cast lakes and streams without the pain of picking up and setting down a normal tackle box or being incumbered with something that's strapped to my shoulders/back. This fit the bill! I have not been able to use it extensively yet, but it is very comfortable so far and a joy to use while fly fishing in particular. Have not owned it long enough to judge durability, but it seems very stout...maybe even over built. I'm not sure I will use all the attachments, but it's nice they are available. This belt worked well for me while wade fishing oyster bars. I fished all day and was able to have everything I needed with me. I bought a 5x7 plastic box to keep extra tackle in and my phone in the front pouch. It kept them dry and available when need. The other hooks were great for my stringer and bait bucket tether. The pliers holder also worked well. I had water available thanks to the holder. All in all great product. ... show more

It comes with a bag to hold gear in, a bag to hold a drink, plier holder, and a holster for your fishing pole. The pole holder in my opinion is the best part. So I do like this waist pack, but there are definitely some cons… what I do like is that it has so much potential to hold everything you would need. I wade fish quite often and usually just carry what I can on me or have another small waist pack that I have used for years for freshwater/mountain fishing. I got this specifically for saltwater fishing. The pack seems sturdy, but the issues I have are related to stability. First, I really wanted something that had a little rod holder spot, which this has, and that part seems ok. The biggest issue is that all of these items are modular, which is good and bad. It’s good because you may not need them all, but it’s bad because it keeps it from staying sturdy. The main pouch doesn’t really stay snapped very well and unsnapped twice on me the first time I used it. I’ve tried hooking it up to the belt 2 different ways and it’s still kind of bulky feeling. You can adjust the size of the belt but it’s all Velcro, which is very limited in how much you can shorten the belt because it starts to fold out at a point. I’m about a size 34-36 waist and it’s still almost too big. If you’re smaller than that I would definitely not recommend this belt as it’s big and very difficult to tighten up. A lot of the other accessories are also attached very awkwardly and nothing seems fully stable. I’d say that I’d this belt had all of these things permanently affixed, it would be great. All in all, it’s not a bad belt… but I definitely have had some issues with it. It’s a great concept, just not implemented very well.
