I was worried it would be too big or lose in some areas but it seems to fit my 4lb chihuahua perfect she’s snug and secure. It doesn’t feel flimsy. I’ve had my fair share or doggy carriers and pouches and this one seems great now we can go on long walks and hikes with our baby.

I ordered this product in sizes Small & Medium. The small was extremely tiny & the medium was a giant step up from the small size. I have a toy poodle that is approximately 6-7 lb. She fits into the Medium but could potentially jump out of it, as it is very loose. The small would be very tight on her & is much too small. I think I will end up keeping the medium probably but I just worry about her jumping out of it. The issue is, even in the medium, it is a challenge to zip up the sides without getting her fur stuck in the zipper. So for sure, the small is impossible to zip her up in. I almost can’t think of any dog that would fit in the size small. Maybe a toy or teacup poodle puppy. The overall design is very cute, however, & it is well made & a good value for the cost. I have tried several sling & backpack (front pack) options & I think this is the best one. ... show more

Just realized the size is based on the carrier and not the dog. Large is actually for a Corgy, I took it to mean the size of the breed, which most things I buy for my dog are measured by. For perspective the small is for a “toy”, Medium for a chihuahua, Large for a corgy. My chubby mixed cogi-hauau is not fitting any of these. I hesitated buying this carrier because I thought I'd look a little silly (I was right but it's silly in a fun way so it's fine). I have a small Yorkie & she loves going for walks as long as she doesn't have to actually walk. This carrier is adorable & honestly my dog "Rainbow" looks adorable in it. If you don't really enjoy attention, don't buy this carrier. Rainbow already commands a lot of attention & she loves it, I'm not a big fan of being stopped every other minute on a walk so I mostly use this indoors. It keeps my dog from being "underfoot" & I can use my hands while carrying her. I don't feel like she's going to fall, but the shoulder straps don't feel very secure. This would be a 5 star product; however, it's already difficult to get a wiggly pup in the carrier & it has zippers on either side to make getting them in easier. A little forethought or product testing should have quickly identified the problem of zipping a furry animal into anything; it takes more work than necessary to make sure her hair doesn't get caught in the zipper. I found that the sizes are very very small, so my less than 10 pound pup needed a medium. I also found that while she was in it, she kept leaning forward. It has elastic on the neck, which makes sense for comfortability, but also allows the dog to go forward away from your chest. It does it's job, but I wouldn't feel comfortable with doing anything more than a slow walk with her in it. ... show more
