The media could not be loaded. Purchased bag design of navy and white stripes with camel piping accents. Looks exactly like product photo. Bag is very nice quality. Two ample-sized side pockets. Padded straps, especially like the chest strap - helps keep the bag steadier and level - but it does flatten a couple things for a 5'10" woman. Ahem. Mesh is anti-tear, although one of my cats was able to break a few micro lines, but it doesn't run, and is unnoticeable. Some reviews seem to complain about extension pad size, but I think it fits fine on top of the other when the extension is not in use. The added velcro straps on the inside also keep the folded-up extension from pushing through, helping keep a full space open in the main cabin. My cat is about 14-18 pounds but not very tall, a little under 12 inches in height from floor to ear tip, so the bag's proportions tended to fit him well. He seemed very cozy on the ride home and I think is looking forward to his next outdoor adventure. *Notes on other reviews: 1.) The review with the white dogs is misleading - their owner was using it sideways and upside down, plus half of what they said is false about the actual product (#justakaren). 2.) The reviews complaining about clasps - you can see in the product photo what is / is not on the bag - Clasps, are a preference, and there is a strong chest strap with clasp included. Durable steel zippers are attached at every entry/exit point, including with the additional, velcroed, flip up visor on the top of the bag. If you prefer clasps, buy a bag that already has them - don't buy a product that doesn't and then complain about it. 3) The reviews complaining about the 2ndry pad in the expansion side - take it out! Honestly, we learned to play with blocks in what, kindergarten? Take the expansion pad out, rotate it to fit on top of the other in the main cabin. The interior velcro straps can still reach, and keep the expansion pressed flat to maximize the interior cabin space. So glad I purchased this and didn't let a few bad apples stop me! The product reviews definitely don't do this bag justice. I would absolutely recommend this product if you're searching for a classy, durable, comfortable cat backpack at an unbeatable price. Very durable, pockets to carry toys and food, my full grown cat fits perfect and the expansion makes it big enough for him to stay in while traveling long distance. No need to buy a travel carrier. It's all in one. We have had it almost a year and still love it and use it daily. Ive never had a problem with the zippers, its very lightweight and looks nice. Great design. Very good buy. I have a huge scottish fold cat, he's about 12kg probably. He fits inside comfortably and the bag itself is easy to open either from the front or the top to let him out of it or put him inside it. The bag has a compartment that can be opened on the part with the shoulder straps that turns it into a bigger bag allowing your pet to lie down instead of sitting inside it. Material feels fairly sturdy and not like some cheap fabric you'd get if you buy something from Alibaba or whatever. The bag has 2 pockets on the sides, they are a bit small but enough to fit some snacks or your phone/keys. The bag has breathable fabric on all sides which allows great air circulation inside it so your pet shouldn't overheat unlike those bags with the huge plastic dome which feel like they're ready to take your pet to outer space. Overall it's a great product and worth buying if you want to take your cat or other pet outside or just to move them between houses or take them to the vet. ... show more

    • Pretty good bag but it hurts my back

I have a 14lb big cat and this bag fits him well! He seems comfortable in it and I like being able to expand the side so he has more room to stretch. I’ve taken my cat in the car and the airplane. I also like the quality of the backpack. It feels sturdy and breathable! My only complaints are: 1. the design of the backpack puts a lot of weight on the bottom panel which transfers a lot of pressure to the lower back. I wish there was more padding in this area to make the backpack more comfortable. I was hoping to take my cat hiking with this pack but it hurts my back too much. 2. The case doesn't quite fit under the seat in an airplane. I make it work by putting the bottom panel at an angle but it kind of squishes my cat a little. I was hoping this design would allow my cat more space on a plane. ... show more

Great price! Very spacious! Well made except for the zipper. Highly recommend using a pair of pliers to tighten the zippers. First use my cats pushed thru it, but haven't had any issues since. I have a smaller Shih Tzu, and this backpack serves as her carrier when traveling. And I can also use it as a kennel when we get to our hotel or destination . It has roomy packets for all the dog essentials , water dish, food, snacks, poo bags, leash....everything in one spot. It is easy to clean and durable for the times I might be in a tight spot and rub against walls. The backpack straps are comfortable on my shoulders and my dog is very comfortable . it is very roomy for my 10 pound dog. She can move all around in it, even when it is zip up and in "go" mode. The material and color is very nice and pleasing to the eye. It doesn't look cheap or garish. We have crossed the country quite a bit in this, so it has held up to lots of planes and vehicles. I purchased the XL backpack for my son's family cat. The cat weight is 9.7 # and this is perfect for the kitty. The cat has not escaped nor torn the mesh. He does slide forward when carried in backpack mode and my son needs to adjust the backpack. The extentions are nice. It has a handle so it can be used as a carrier. The backpack is well constructed.
