The stools were very carefully packed and shipped with care. Assembling was fast, clear, and simple. I assembled both stools in less than five minutes. The stools have wide circular bases for extra stability. A perfect sized foot rest near the base and plenty of varied height that adjust fast and easily. The seats of the stools are super comfortable and beautifully stitched and padded. The low backs gives them comfort and the ability to be pushed under our counter tops. I loved most of all the price. For two beautiful bar stools we paid less than $200. We sampled some stools that were $200 a stool. I think this is a great buy and highly recommend this product. ... show more

I really am a sucker for high quality furniture, but I didn’t want to spend a arm and a leg for some nice looking bar stools. These guys feel and look much more expensive then they are, I really like the build. Soft cushions that feel high quality. Easy to put together, but could have been easier.

    • Issues with chair quality but great customer service
I purchased two of these chairs less than five months ago. They both have very limited usage and already, one of the chairs has become wobbly and has started scraping against the lift mechanism, causing paint flecks all over the floor. It's to the point that I'm concerned about the safety of the chair. I contacted the company and their customer service promptly offered to replace or refund the chair. These bar stools are much nicer than I expected. Assembling them was a breeze. I only had to attach the post to the seat with four screws (a thick, easy-to-use hex screwdriver and the screws plus extras were provided), drop the lift part into the circle base, then slide the chair post over the lift post. After unpacking everything from the box, both stools came together in slightly less than ten minutes. The quality of the materials and the construction is truly impressive. The faux leather feels nice, not plastic-like as some are, and there’s plenty of cushion to make the stools comfortable, though this is the one area where I wasn’t one hundred percent in love, since the padding on the back hits my back a little weird which could get annoying, but it’s tolerable. It’s also not something I fault the stool’s design for as no one else in my family had that issue. The stools swivel, raise, and lower smoothly. The height range on the stools is also very good. At their lowest, my kids can use them at our standard height dining room table. It’s not something most adults would be able to do comfortably, but it does help when we have a larger number of guests over and run short on seats. At their highest, the seat is as tall as my bar-height table. I’m not certain where having them be fully extended would be useful, especially since I (height: five foot three) needed a step to climb into them at their tallest, but it’s safe to say the range should cover just about any bar counter situation. I really like these a lot. They go nicely in my kitchen and match well with a pair of white stools I also got from this company and also love. I definitely recommend them. ... show more
