These stools are very easy to put together. Under 5 minutes. They raise up and lower. The chair itself has like oil looking stains on the rear of both of them though. Otherwise it would have been 5 star. No odd odors and the quality feels nice and comfortable

I have a smaller kitchen with a center island . I didn't want to use all the space with a table so I bought these stools to go under the counter. They are perfect! Super easy to put together. Might have taken 15 minutes. The height is adjustable and they are comfortable. They look great as well!

I love these stools. They are easily assembled out of the box. Took less than ten minutes, even with a toddler “helping.” They really are beautiful. The seat is a soft leather material. With a non functioning zipper on the back. The shape is perfect to sit comfortably and the lower back to be supported. The base is large enough to be sturdy and there are nice foot rests so your legs don’t dangle. The seat is adjustable with a powerful piston. I can’t say enough how much I love these! ... show more

These are really elegant, and the stitching on them look nice. I do wish the backs were a little higher. Otherwise, for the price these look fantastic, are easy to move around but also stable when sitting on. The adjustable height and foot rest are great features.

These are very easy to assemble. Once assembled, simply sit on the seat, and use the lever to raise and lower the seat. I really like the stitching. The white zigzags are a nice pop of color on the black leather. The zipper up the back gives a funky look, although it is not anything more than cosmetic. The chairs are sturdy. The stools look great in my kitchen. And while they are bottom heavy, they would not be bottom heavy enough if you had a small toddler trying to climb up into it. ... show more

They look more expensive than they really are, and after shopping around, it turns out that these stools have a higher backrest than similar existing stools, thus, giving more solid support.
