I'm absolutely in love with these chairs but there are a few cons. The chairs look grey when I had ordered white. I didn't feel the need to return them because they still matched the room. Assembling was an 8 bolt assembly but the backs were a bit bent and required a little force to line up the holes. Comfort, I didn't have any expectations on due to knowing they aren't padded. Husband commented on how well these were packaged upon arrival. Bubble wrap and all. They were fairly straightforward to assemble. The only issue I had was one backrest was slightly off somehow albeit bent or the holes were just a little off and it was much harder than the rest to attach. No biggie though. These fit entirely under my kitchen island without even hitting the wood supports. That does make it slightly harder to pull them out because I have to grab the middle of the backrest instead of the top. I probably could have gone with the 26 inch and been fine but these are still great. Will work our fantastic when we have guests over until we splurge on a bigger kitchen table. ... show more

The grain on the wooden seat was pretty sharp when we unpacked them. We used a fine grit sandpaper to smooth it down, and that did the trick. Other than that issue, we really like these chairs. They’re sturdy, a perfect height, and great for our family. They’re great for the price.

Great little stools! Very well-made but the keyword here is a little. As a grown man, most of our butts will not fit comfortably on the stool. I looked around at a lot of places for similar/the exact same stools and this was the best deal I found (I know prices fluctuate, I paid around $165 for a set of 4). They arrived without any defects and my husband said they were easy to put together. They are as comfortable as a bar stool with a low back could be. Easy to assemble, however, instructions are confusing, make sure to use the shorter screws to attach the seat, the longer ones will screw right through the wood and out the top. Otherwise they assembly takes about 20 min and all the tools you need are included. They look good and are comfortable to sit on but the bars for your feet are a little uncomfortable if barefoot but no big deal. ... show more

Arrived in a timely manner and well packaged. The steel frame seems to be sturdy and doesn't creak. Wood seat isnt the best, some imperfections on the stain finish and some texture chip imperfections may catch your clothes. Rubber feet were a nightmare. All unbalanced and uneven. Had to modify the rubber feet with a razor blade and cut down the diameter of the feet, then hammer in for a press fit, and then cut off the excess rubber shavings from forced fitment. There are some serious inconsistencies in the production of the rubber feet. After 4 hours it finally sits leveled. They look decent but my experience is probably 1 out of 100. ... show more
