Constantly exceeding my expectations. I own a lot of Yolink hardware and am deep into Home Automation with Home Assistant. All work seamlessly. After using a lot of the devices for a long time, I had one failure. The App on my phone let me know there was an issue. Therefore, the system (includes all of the components) are monitored for health. A rare and complete level of Systems Engineering. On the one failure, I emailed Yolink with the results of the very simple and straight forward troubleshooting. Boom. They were sending me a replacement in minutes. Absolutely outstanding. I have not seen a company at this level in a while. It brings tears of joy to my eyes to find a company like this one.     • I love this ecosystem
I've got probably $500 worth of YoLink in my home. It started with a leak detector and hub. Then another, and another until I had every source of water in my house protected. Then the holy grail; the automatic valve that shuts off the water to the house entirely. So since this system is so easy to set up, so easy to program, so easy to configure, I had to have more. Motion detectors around the house, including the mailbox, so I had to get this speaker hub to announce, "Mail's here!" Don't get me wrong, there were a couple of moments when things just didn't seem right. Then I keep looking and find the solution. There was one occasion where I was absolutely stumped. I called tech support and the response was nothing short of great, by a knowledgeable tech, and the problem was solved in five minutes! The Yolink SpeakerHub is SUPER cool for several reasons. 1. The size is very small and compact 2. The performance is excellent as it allows ultra long distant communication with its connected. 3 The integrated speaker is soooo cool because it can be programed to announce which sensor is triggered using customizable voice commands for each sensor or device its programed to announce. 4.     • Remember to turn of your phone's VPN when connecting this hub to your wifi network
Couldn't connect my phone to the hub's hotspot to set up the wifi connection until I turned off the VPN on my phone. Once I figured that out I connected immediately and the hub has been working flawlessly. I have the speaker hub working together with my older wired hub and the combination seems to work just fine. ... show more

It takes only a few minutes to set everything up, but this has worked well for us. My driveway entrance is too far away for conventional WiFi options. I set this unit up with one sensor aimed at my entrance and programmed the speaker hub to notify me - bingo! No more packages sitting out in the weather because I didn’t know the truck had come . ... show more

    • Slow customer support but finally did get replies with useful info…so went from 1 to 3 stars
The company from what I can tell has a headquarters in California but most items come from China and worst I think they are truly based in China. The manuals to download are easily accessible online but the websites for the manuals specifically says unsecure website. Being this is a Chinese company, I worry greatly about that. I feel this company is compromising our security even though they are selling security items. Many red flags. The support is non existent or haphazard. More suspicious issues, many support personal have the first name Eric…weird to say the least. I am in the process of returning many times other than the leak sensors. The fact that all the manuals take you to unsecured websites is a big red flag. The speaker is to say the least weak…the WiFi connection is fairly strong. The cable for power is awful, thin and will not unravel, constantly recoiling. All the cables for their other devices are the same too, so clearly this is the quality of the material they provide. If you need verbal feedback from your other devices when they trigger, get the siren. Also do not get this speaker hub to replace your stand alone hub. The stand alone hub is larger and is wired for more stable connection. The material is ok bit clearly not very durable. Just to hear speaker, you must turn the unit onto its front so the bottom is the top where the speaker grill is…they should have placed the grill in the front given the low low speaker voulme. The the company has its own web page to buy products directly but usually about 15-30% higher than on Amazon. The company for some reason has odd pricing on Amazon. Many items have free shipping but then when you order preset bundles, they oddly charge shipping charges. Not all bundles carry these shipping charges, single items do not and many bundles do not then without reason other bundles have these shipping fees…why…unknow. Again support is hit or miss. Many of their web pages are unsecured. Confusing manuals and how to get it to integrate with Alexa or Google assistant. Limited sms message of 5 for alerts. The range is their biggest selling point but beware of support, unsecured web sites and confusing literature. ... show more
