This is way more sturdy than i thought it would be. very good quality for the price. surprised my husband with this and he is out everyday using it! i don’t normally like shooting hoops but having it in my own backyard makes it really fun! it’s quite difficult adjusting it because you have to unscrew screws instead of being able to pull a lever. everything looked great when we got it and there were no damaged products. the instructions are a little tricky and not very clear. ... show more

Purchased this for my son to practice taking shots and practice for his basketball games. It was easy to setup and once put together it is pretty sturdy. The backboard is sturdy and big, perfect for my son to practice making baskets.

I really didnt want to buy this because the company was based in China. Everything else was 2 or 3 times as expensive though so I gave it a chance. I was mildly impressed. Assembly wasnt complicated but because of the size of the thing two people would have made it a lot easier. I had my own tools but they provided wrenches to get the job done. All the parts bags had labels on them so there was no guessing on what parts were what by looking at the pictures in the manual for the 'contents in package' section. A couple of the images in the step by step instructions could use a little work but each step has the parts it uses and how many so thats nice too. No guess work. Some of the bolts has an extra or two.. nice for something used outdoors that gets banged around a lot.. replacements fasteners when you need them and because the bags are labeled you dont even have to remember where each goes or label them yourself. My only complaint is that the backboard is plastic instead of glass but for my 8yr olds first hoop AND for the price it will do just fine. I would buy it again. ... show more

It came in 2 days early and I could wait to get it up. I use to be quite good in sports. But now I am ate up with arthritis. So just looking for some exercise. This unit is pretty solid. I got put together at 10 ft. It worked well. A lot better than me! I think I will drop it down tomorrow to 9 ft so my wife can use it also. It has a spring system for to dunk the ball. But unless a snake is under me I don’t see me dunking. But it is solid. If you just like to shoot, maybe teaching your kids. Or just want some fun and exercise. I don’t think you will get a better product for the money. ... show more

For a casual basketball hoop for young kids, this is a decent product. It came with extra bolts for assembly. Assembly was mildly difficult (I needed an extra pair of hands to hold and steady it at times), and it was very unclear just how much I should tighten the springs under the hoop. The backboard is flimsy, and the rim height is not easily adjustable. It requires tipping the hoop over and removing bolts. The base can be filled with either water or sand. They recommend water if you plan on moving it a lot because it is easier to remove. Again, it's a really affordable hoop, so as long as your expectations are low, it will be fine. If you are expecting a high quality, easily adjustable hoop, you will probably need to spend more money. ... show more
