This does what I need it to do, provides enough cushioning during "table-top" and other not-so-knee-friendly positions. I thought it would be a pain to move it out of the way, then back into place during a yoga class but it has become second nature.

It also provides great lower spine support for core workout moves such as the jack knife or raised legs. The length is exactly the width of a standard size yoga mat.
