I bought these thicker blocks for my husband who is tall and strong. They are sturdy, the pattern is gorgeous, they are durable. The strap which came with them is very nice, a tad rough along the edges but not enough to stop him from using it. Highly recommend these. Delivery was on point, as well.

the blocks (and bonus strap) arrived today, and mine were free of any dings or white label imprints. they are a good size and feel no different than any of the other foam yoga blocks i have owned/used. all foam blocks (high-density or otherwise) are prone to denting or chipping if they get banged about or scraped against things. (which is one eco reason among others that ultimately i would prefer cork or wood/bamboo blocks...) if handled with reasonable care, they should be functional enough. i will update this review if i should experience anything egregious, such as one reviewer reported with breakage under normal use. but i will be honest---i bought these because i liked the printed image on them, and they are just as pretty in person. unlike my other random assortment of foam blocks, these are attractive enough to leave out and just make me happy to look at them during practice. the strap is nice, too, if you are ok with synthetic fibre straps. (they are silky rather than grippy feeling.) but it's an appealing print and colour combo, although it does not match particularly well the blocks it came with, oddly. it looks exactly as it does in the pictures (turquoise and oranges, mainly), so i cannot say it differs from the image provided. overall, i am satisfied with the set, and very pleased with the look of the blocks. ... show more

The blocks came two days ago, and I was just heartbroken when I opened the box. The strap was missing, but the big thing was the picture on the sides of the blocks was not nearly as lovely as in the pictures online. I know that things often do not look as good in person, but they weren’t even as good as pictures that other reviewers put up. There are the little white flecks, which would not have bothered me if the pictures on the side of the blocks had not been so dull. It looks sort of like a printer printout on heavy paper, carefully cut out and glued to the side. They do seem sturdy, thought I did not even remove them from the wrapping. If you want black blocks that are firm and cost 20 for two, then they are good. So I did not give a one star review because they seem OK for the job. I just…really fell in love with how I thought they looked. Edit: the seller contacted me and offered to send me a replacement, free. So I will edit the review after I get the new blocks. :). But right now I am really happy with their customer service. Second edit: I got them! The strap is super soft yet strong, and I really am glad they sent it to me. The blocks are a little nicer…here is the thing: if you are looking for them to be metallic and shiny, they are not. They are large — larger than I thought but super useful so far, quite strong. If I had seen these in the store and got to really look at the pattern, I probably would not have bought them, but because of the customer service and the quality of the actual block, I am pretty happy. ... show more

While I love the design on these immensely they actually work really well . They are thicker and the foam doesn’t give too much so they feel stable under you in whatever position you are working on. They are also soft enough that you can use them for a support under your rear or back with no pain.

As other reviewers have said, while in pictures it appears as though the moon print is holographic, it’s really just multi colored to appear that way. I still think it looks really nice in person and the blocks are solid and great for yoga. Well made yoga strap as well with a lovely colorful pattern. ... show more
