I just started working with polymer clay. This was bought to help me condition clay before modeling it. For conditioning it works very well. It has several different settings for thickness which I like doing mine very thin. The downfall to this is the attaching clamp is very poor and won't hold it tight enough to both feed and crank at the same time. I have to hold the machine with one hand and crank. I mounted the machine to a board and clamp it down to the bench that way. ... show more

I've been using mine for 8-9 months and it works fine. I notice some reviews commented the handle comes off easily and they wished they'd bought an electric one. You can purchase a motor for this one for $17 at Hobby Lobby. I'm pleased with mine.

The knob fell off as I was adjusting it and cannot be put back on. I saw another review saying that it leaves black streaks and the handle fell off repeatedly...mine did as well. I liked it despite those minor issues...but the adjusting knob falling off is a major downfall.

Should of bought a better one, or a electric one. Handle comes off while cranking, and hard to adjust thickness. I have one like this i bought for my noodles it works good. But it cost more. So don't buy the cheapest just because its for crafts.

These were some of the first I used, tiny flowers are my favorite. I use air dry clay in those, adorable. Very easy to make jewelry with resin and clay. Easy to clean. I usually give a good wipe down after few uses and dishwasher all my silicone molds together. Still comes out perfectly fine out of wash and heat to dry clay, very durable. ... show more
