I just started working with polymer clay. This was bought to help me condition clay before modeling it. For conditioning it works very well. It has several different settings for thickness which I like doing mine very thin. The downfall to this is the attaching clamp is very poor and won't hold it tight enough to both feed and crank at the same time. I have to hold the machine with one hand and crank. If you are a beginner/not sure if you want to invest in a more expensive machine I think this does the trick! I think several of the reviews are a little too harsh, I’ve enjoyed using this and it comes with a ton of accessories!

My daughter and I were so excited to use these and to learn to make jewelry however, when we went to cut our clay, the hearts she wanted to use our stuff together and a connector piece that I wanted to use is so bent you can’t use either side. Everything else is great, but that kind of ruined it. I know I can buy new cutters, which is what I will do because I don’t want to send everything that we are currently using back pretty bummed to be honest, however, everything else is great quality and I am impressed. ... show more

These were some of the first I used, tiny flowers are my favorite. I use air dry clay in those, adorable. Very easy to make jewelry with resin and clay. Easy to clean. I usually give a good wipe down after few uses and dishwasher all my silicone molds together. Still comes out perfectly fine out of wash and heat to dry clay, very durable. ... show more
