Bought this to store a bunch of these jumbo tumbler cups that the wife is obsessed with. Expected to wait a week or longer for delivery, but it arrived in under 48 hours from the seller via FedEx. Everything was well packed and the instructions were clear. Didn't appear to be missing any parts and took me about an hour to put it together. Initial thoughts are that it's much sturdier than expected. There are a few nice touches as well, the cabinet has adjustable feet in case the floor isn't perfectly level and you can adjust them through the bottom rather than having to lift the thing up and adjust that way. There are also magnets that hold the doors closed, which is a nice touch, which makes opening or closing it much easier if you don't need to keep it locked all the time. There's a lock, though it's not really anything that's super high security. Overall, this is a great product and I'm expecting it to last a very long time. ... show more

I am actually impressed with this cabinet. Instructions are very good, and the different sized screws and parts being individually packed and labeled was a nice surprise. Yes, it is “flimsy” while it’s going together, but very sturdy once assembled. Just follow the instructions and use all the parts they provide. I assembled in my garage with plenty of room to work around it. If you have small rooms, take it outside where there is room. Don’t try to assemble in a small space. ... show more

This is a really nice cabinet for the money. It has some thoughtful features like a colored lock or no lock indicator on the lock cylinder, reinforced handle areas. The handles are metal. The shelves are well reinforced and the shelf mounting system gives a lot of options as there are a a ton of mounting slots about a half inch apart so you can really tailor it to your needs. It has legs if you need them which can be adjusted through access holes in the bottom shelf so you don't have to flip it over to level it. It has small magnets that attach to the doors to keep them shut even when not locked. They also give you a spare set of spring hinges, so if down the roar they wear out, you have a replacement. Also every screw and bolt has an extra in the count so if you lose one or something gets damaged in the assembly process, you have a ready replacement. Lots of thoughtful touches like that are pretty nice. It comes in a big box and it is heavy, about 120lbs give or take, so have help or do what I did and open the box and take it to its destination a piece at a time. The assembly instructions are quite good, just look them over carefully as you go to check for orientation of the various parts. Every part and the accompanying fasteners are labeled with a letter to assist in assembly. They also give you a screw driver but I used a impact driver which speeds things up. The only really hard part of assembly is putting the sides on without them flopping over. I used a couple chairs to hold them in a vertical position while I screwed them down and that helped. The item is well packed, but these heavy items get no love from UPS and drivers just throw them and mine had a dent in the top panel. Fortunately, it's on top and not visible ( unless you are really tall) and I was able to massage it out for the most part. Not worth returning it due to the weight. Had it been a door I would have, but the doors on mine and everything else were flawless. These cabinets wont stop a determined thief but they will keep things you want to keep locked up reasonably safe. I gave it four stars due to the dent. Not really the manufacturers fault, but its still a flaw none the less and better packaging might have been able to prevent it. Anyway, I'm very happy with the cabinet thus far. ... show more

I purchased this cabinet for the garage. It was easy to assemble and was packed well. Even though it was packed well, there was a few places the metal was scratched, it wasn't on the front panels and I didn't think it deserved a lower rating because of that. The storage space for this cabinet is amazing and the quality is great. I'm going to purchase another one! The box was extremely heavy so you may need help moving it. ... show more

It was packaged really well, sturdy materials, easy to follow directions! I’m a 33 year old female and I was able to put this together by myself in about an hour with children running around. The lock works great for toddler proofing. Previously we had a cubical storage thing and my toddler was getting into everything. This is the cheapest, best solution. The wooden cabinets were so expensive in comparison. I definitely recommend buying this. * You may need your own screw driver, by the time I was done, the screwdriver it came with was whittled down to nothing. ... show more

Looks great and was easy to assemble. The adjustable feet are nice for leveling out the cabinet. Shelves can be spaced at any height with the 1" support intervals. Very sturdy as well.

    • Great garage cabinets
First, be prepared for a very heavy box. I ended up unpacking both of mine in the front hall and carrying the pieces to the garage for assembly. The box was extremely well packaged and my cabinets arrived without any damage at all. I found it easy to assemble the cabinets on a large sheet of plywood on my sawhorses rather than kneeling down to the floor to put them together. The instructions are clear with lots of diagrams to guide you thru assembly. It took me about 1 1/2 hours for each one. Yes, these are not the thickest or strongest, but they work perfectly for my use and gave me lots of shelves for storage of much of the junk in my garage. ... show more
