They were easy to put together, I was able to do them myself (I am a woman, not that women can't do these things we do it all of the time - I just want other women to know - you can do it), the instructions were easy to follow and clear and concise. they are very sturdy, and look nice in the garage, I use them to store all of my small kitchen appliances, extra bakeware, bottled water/tea/protein drinks, TP, paper towels, facial tissues, etc. Great value for the money.     • Miracle of engineering with forgivable flaws

This cabinet is incredible. The amount of engineering thought that went into it is unbelievable. If they gave a Nobel Prize in sheet metal design, whoever designed this cabinet should get the award. So many impressive qualities. First of all, the thing arrives packed like a brick. Every empty cubic inch is packed with foam or structural packing. I can't imagine how it could be packed more securely. A result of the snug packing is protection. There were hardly any dents. Yes, there were some tiny dents, but the metal is so thin that it's easy to ding out any bends. I was very impressed with the packing. The metal IS very thin, thugh. And there is a LOT of square inches of it, so the cabinet weighs almost 100 lbs. If they made the metal thicker it would 200-300 lbs and have to arrive freight. And cost more. If you just want a cabinet, and you aren't worried about somebody trying to break into it, this thing is plenty strong. It's reinforced in all the right places. I have hundreds of pounds of gear in it and it doesn't look even slightly strained. But it's not a security cabinet. The lock would only keep honest people out, and small, unmotivated kids. If you want something that could withstand more than 10 seconds of serious break-in attack, get something beefier. It's only a 2-point lock. if you pull on the door hard, it bows out so you can reach in and pull down the lock rods. No tools needed to break in. That said, it wouldn't be hard to add a bar to the back of the key lock and make it into a 3-point system. I kinda don't understand why they didn't do that, actually. Would have make it slightly more secure. But if you don't care about security, then this is an excellent cabinet. It went together flawlessly. They give extras of every fastener. It has adjustable feet that can be adjusted from above -- very clever. Parts were all very accurately fabricated. Everything lined up. Screws went in easily. Took about 2 hours to assemble, taking my time. The shelves seem pretty strong. I didn't like that the shelves have a 1/2 inch gap along the back. Keep that in mind if you put small parts on the shelves that could roll off the back of a shelf. A forgivable flaw. Lots of other cabinets also have this gap. I now have 3 of these units in my garage. After the first one I was able to put them together by myself. The assembly process really is rather easy. I found one of the great features being the adjustable leveling feet. They are accessible thorough the bottom shelf under the white rubber plugs. Which means you don't have to keep turning the unit on its side to make micro adjustments to level the cabinet. As far as construction it is pretty sturdy. As for opening an updated package... not so good. Box was ripped and dented one of the shelves. As I delved into removing all the pieces there were dents and folds in at least 6 of the panels. It'll still go together but going to take extra time to pull dents to get it together!!! When I contacted the manufacturer through Amazon, they were fabulous to deal with. When I explained the condition of the first cabinet, they gave me 20% back, which prompted me to order a second one. After some FedEx shipping errors, I was able to get the second one. FEDEX WAS THEISSUE HERE, NOT THE COMPANY!!! Once again, I emphasize that the company was tremendous to deal with, FedEx not so much!!! I give the company an absolute 5-Star rating!!!! Nice storage cabinet. Came packaged well with no dings or dents. Overall height and width measurements are true. For the price point, it's a well-made sturdy cabinet. All hardware was included, with a few extras and it was simple to put together.
