Overall the piece is fine quality. They may have improved the directions as well as me and my 4 year old (she did most of the work! Lol) put it together. With that being said it was a bit time consuming as it tool about 3 hrs start to finish. The only complaint I have is the poor design/placement of the support pieces and their screws. When I put the sliding doors on, they kept running up against something and wouldn't slide smoothly. Upon inspection and as you can see in the pic, the screws holding the supports were made too long and they pierced the track slide. I had to turn the piece back over and loosen the screws a bit in order to fix the problem. Overall a good piece for the price. ... show more

There were a lot of steps and some instructions were not as clear as they should be. The unit is fairly heavy and when you have to maneuver it during construction you have to be careful to not damage the wood. The screws that hold it together are mostly identified correctly but some sizing is more difficult based on the instructions. This unit looks great and seems strong. My only complaint is the doors do not look as high end farmhouse as the photos. I did damage the back. but it is not in view. Overall very happy ... show more

Instructions could be a bit clearer on how to put things together the proper direction. If you get this as a tip, pay very close attention to every hole in the pictures. I accidentally put a few things on upside down. The plastic pads don’t explain how they intend you to put them on. It’s a nail, but there’s no hole directing you. Beyond that mine came damaged and Amazon foists the customer support for that off site which is very frustrating. I’ll be cleaning up pieces of styrofoam for weeks now I’m sure. This was also unusually dirty when you remove it from the box. Either dust or sawdust. I’d say if it didn’t come damaged it’s fine for the price. You get what you pay for especially when you have to assemble it yourself. But it isn’t quite what I wanted, but that’s not entirely the fault of the product. I personally feel more 3 stars about it but it’s pretty darn solid piece. And I’m glad that the back pieces were double sided with the “stain”, because one of the holes for this had a weird effect (forgot to take a pic) but that’s to the wall so not a big deal. ... show more

I wish we checked it earlier now we have a incomplete item we can't even return. Other then that is really heavy and looks sturdy but we won't know since we are missing pieces ... show more

This was a perfect fit for the small space I had in my kitchen. Overall a good quality product. Assembly is very time consuming and can be confusing at times so make sure you read the instructions ahead of the step you are on to help instruct you which direction some of the parts need to go.
