The only thing I see is that there are scratches noticeable after using a steel spoon to mix or scoop up the food that inside. Great value for the price. The plastic lids seal incredibly well, you literally hear an air vacuum being created and released when you insert or remove the lids. Very reassuring as to the air-tightness of this bowls. The bowls nest perfectly within themselves, and the lids do too, so the whole set takes up no more space than the largest bowl. The only downside is that the weight of the metal bowls is considerably less than what bowls of this sort used to be. That perhaps gives away my age (early 60's), but my last set had been with me for a decade or two and when I went to replace them with this set I was surprised out how thin the gauge of metal was. It shouldn't be a problem, but I wouldn't recommend them for a commercial kitchen where heavier use could ultimately distort the round shape of the bowls to the point where the lids no longer properly fit. For typical home use, however, this should be no problem. Again, a good value overall as this set is very reasonably priced and certainly gets the job done. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. this stainless steel, stackable, lidded bowl set is all-purpose! from meal prep to table to refrigerator, all functions. they look bright and cheery. the lids can be used as a platter under the bowl. the set fits well even in a small kitchen. to close the lids: press firmly on the center circle on the lid. it will "burp" the bowl and then create a suction tight seal. to remove lids: grasp the curved lip farthest away from you and pull towards you. love these! ... show more

These bowls are fabulous with lids. To secure the lid pretend your giving chest compressions, then wa la closed secure lid. The bowls do not rust and it's a fabulous product.

I dropped and broke my large plastic mixing bowl and so decided to get a new set. First time in 20 years to get a new set! I purchased these and have not been disappointed. The bowls are light but strong (i.e., you will not bend/distort them). They wash well by hand and in the dishwasher. The lids are nice to have and I like how stackable everything is (i.e., the lids stack with each other and the bowls nest/stack together). There is no pouring spout on the bowl edge but I have found that pudding, eggs, etc. still pour out nicely. I highly recommend this bowl set. ... show more
