I wear a medium in regular clothes, but I decided to get a small this time since I was already losing weight after having my 4th baby. It fits good and it feels comfortable. I can move around in it. I got the XS. I am 5'3 and 123 lbs. I retain a lot of my body fat in my arms, belly, and back. When I first received it I was extremely frustrated with trying to get the hooks to latch but then I realized it was probably because I overshot on my size....It was super tight and I had a lot of belly fat. I couldn't even get it zip up on the third and farthest latch so I just left the hooks exposed every time I wore it. I'm on day 5 for my waist trainer schedule going on about 6-7 hours of wear a day, and I must say I am impressed. Today was the day I finally got it to zip up on the second (middle) notch! I've lost water weight (with the help of exercising and eating healthy of course) and have been seeing gradual results and noticeable belly suppression. With a healthy diet and workout regimen I think this product is going to be the most bang for your buck....The compression absolutely reduces your urge to eat in large quantities because of how uncomfortably tight in can get. Material is durable and better than expected and it has maintained its shape despite me having ran in it a few times already. Did not receive the same odor everyone has been talking about. Love this trainer! Happy to say I am one very pleased customer with the results this purchase yielded. Initially I was very skeptical about it wasn't expecting to be blown away by the results which included even losing some weight wearing this little thing !!! I just re-ordered myself a new one in a smaller size now that the one that was originally ordered no longer fits, I already can't wait to get my hands on it. If you are contemplating about the fit of the trainer I thought long and hard about it too mostly because I'm more on the curvier end which can make size selection hard. In my situation my waist is on the small side and my hips are wider so if you are in the same boat as me this review is for you. No second guessing needed ladies it worked so speaking to the ladies that can relate to having bigger hips rest assured that it will fit and more importantly, it won't be noticeable at all expect a seamless fit a major plus if wearing this under clothes. With one zip instantly see results at least for me I look like I had a surgical tummy tuck and a breast lift . All in the same time while wearing the trainer becoming accustomed to adopting the second nature of correcting improper body alignment which will keep you comfortable in your waist training journey. you will learn the hard way if your constantly out of alignment this will never work for you it's hard to move any of the midsection wearing this. Very Impressed by how it just stays in place thing wont be sliddong around once it's on its on if you need to re-adjust your going to need to take it off completely. Give yourself some time to figure out how to get used to it, it has a very firm hold the so choose a size proportionate to your waist. The product is fabulous. I got the trainer on the 15th of Jan 2025. I've been wearing it daily every since. When I read people reviews on how waist trainers curb your appetite I was like yeah right. So let me tell you this Yanna is the truth I weigh 270 plus ordered a 3x and every time I step out people are like your losing weight I say I'm trying. They're like no ma'am you're doing your Thang. So to the makers of Yanna waist trainer Thanks for snatching me. It's comfortable and stays in place. Once it's button and zipped it fits secure. You're not gasping for breath it's just that comfortable. Granted in the first day or so it takes so getting use to but once you get it set right your good to go. ... show more

If you have a belly that sticks out at least somewhat significantly over the top of your jeans, you will need to order up 1-2 sizes. Just to give you an idea since I don't have a picture to post with this review. I am currently 5'5" approximately 200 lbs. and ordered an XL which did not come close to fitting around my mid-section. I wear a 14 in most jeans, sometimes 16. I carry my weight proportionally so I'm not thin anywhere and have the little roll that sticks out over the top of my jeans. My belly is not bigger than my breasts or doesn't stick out further than my breasts. At any rate, now that I have humbled myself and given my current physical description (Ugh!) - I think this would be great IF IT FIT so I think I will order a 3XL to see if I'm right?? I hope this helps others!! I rated everything a 3 since it didn't fit - I'm unable to give accurate rating on each of the categories and didn't want to be completely unfair about it. ... show more
