This tricycle was a great buy for my 99th percentile nearly 3 year old. He's not ready for a bike, but has never fit in any baby seats for longer than a few uses. This trike fits him! He has no trouble getting around with his feet, but can reach and use the pedals too. As an indecisive little 'mechanic', I love how easy it is to get the pedals off and on with an easy button press and snap-in. It's so easy that he can do it himself! I had no trouble putting this together since another reviewer said to make sure the white wheel cover's primary 'nice' looking side face out when you put them on. If you're someone with arthritis or motor disabilities but want to put this together for a grand child or the like, all the tools are included and it took very very little strength. Most things just slide and snap in. My son had fun helping! The trike has a nice feel to it, clean and not cheap feeling, sturdy. It looks brand new after several uses outside. The mode-changing is not gimmicky, it actually works well as a balance bike and as a tricycle! It takes less than 10 seconds to change from one to the other- you just press a button on the back wheel, swing it in, and repeat on the other side to swap. Love love love it. ... show more

I got this beautiful trike for my two year old granddaughter, I got bikes for their sisters a few years back and when they go on rides she doesn’t have one, so I started browsing around and find this gem and let me tell you the design is really nice. It's colorful. The adjustable seat is a great feature because it allows the tricycle to grow with my grandchild. So no need to buy a new tricycle every few months as she grows. Another thing I really like is the option to remove the pedals. This makes it easy to convert the tricycle into a balance bike, which is perfect for little ones who are just starting to learn how to balance. It's a versatile feature that adds value to the product. Very well constructed. The folding feature is also a huge plus. It allows me to easily store the tricycle or take it with us on trips without taking up too much space. The folding mechanism is straightforward. I am a pre-k physical therapist that travels from school to school in NYC, working strictly with 3-5 year olds in Pre-K. This tricycle bus well made and super easy to use. It works well for the 3-5 year range. My older and bigger kids are maxing it out but the seat/pedal alignment enables them to still use it. If your child is above 50th percentile in hight and 5, get a larger one as you will only get a season or less out of it. The handle on the seat is really useful. The seat is both supportive and also accommodating for kids to explore different postures. There are 3 things that would make this fantastic bike, an insanely great deal; 1) there is a little slop in the handlebar connection. I wish this had a tighter tolerance. 2) I wish the seat had a button to allow it to either raise/lower or slide forward/back. There is a button that folds it in half which is marginally useful. The extra cost and materials would add more in an adjustable seat. 3) the crank is really short. I believe this is to limit the load on the plastic crank connector and at this weight and price, the short crank will probably allow it to not break quickly. This is a fantastic tricycle that folds to a nice compact size and is easy to carry around. It is not a replacement for the heavy duty tricycles that weigh a ton, that you see at Pre-K centers. Those cost between $200-$250 a piece and they are super heavy. Those are great in their own right, are much more robust (I stand on the back of those all the time while I'm helping the kids learn how to ride). You have to treat this item that I'm reviewing like it's light weight because it is. That being said, I've dropped it by accident many times from a pretty high height and the kids have abused it plenty without a problem. Solid buy... ... show more

I bought this for my 2 year old granddaughter. It’s the easiest bike to assemble that I have ever purchased. Very well built! Moving to/from the different stages is so easy! Done with just the press of a button! Just a tiny too tall for my granddaughter so I took the pedals off and pushed her and she loved it. I added a little basket to the front so that she could bring her doll along and that was a hit, she used it to collect β€˜treasures’ during the walk 😊 ... show more

Purchased it for my 3.5 year old daughter who is little taller than average American kid. I liked it for the seat which is wide and has some sort of back rest, so she is comfortable on it. My daughter loves this bike and learned to ride it in just the first minutes. It's good quality and sturdy. Tires are not rubber but they are well on asphalt, so no worries about that.
